@@tiashii as don’t think that! I’m Korean American, and I live in America. America may have excellent education and great worldwide known colleges but I personally think Korean schools are much better because the kids that are in the same age group seem to know more than the kids in my age group. You always want what others have but you don’t realize how good what you have is :) I don’t know if your from Korea or from Singapore, or India, or wherever your from but I promise you, you’re lucky in your own way

When I was in school I had a math teacher who was the nicest, quietest must soft spoken person I have ever met. Her lectures where so soothing... she didn’t even care if you fell asleep during class. Now when ever I can’t sleep I look for math asmr and it does the trick every time. It’s like she programmed to associate polynomials with nap time 😴

In reality, school classes are too short for a better explaination and rivision... Any teacher which teaches u first time will look "not so up to the mark" to u, as it the first time u heard something, it will take multiple rivision to get it Which are not possible in a 45 min class, its too short TO MAKE A RYTHM😀... 26:45 there is an equation for finding these (the zeroes of a second-degree polynomial), you can find it on Wikipedia if you search for the article titled Discrmininat and go to the second degree subsection... The equations are x1 = (-b-sqrt(b^2 - 4ac))/2a, x2 = (-b+sqrt(b^2 - 4ac))/2a where you can find a,b,c are taken from ax^2 + bx + c And then the polynomial can be written as (x - x1)(x-x2)=0 or in this case 1/((x-x1)(x-x2))

26:32 You can always find the right values for the factorization by computing the roots of the expression. For example using the quadratic formula. No need for hard thinking :)

It's not pointless. It's mental exercise, which most adults could use a hell of a lot more of. When you go to the gym and lift the barbell you don't do it because you think a barbell is going to fall on top of you one day when you're walking down the street. You do it to strengthen your muscles for other activities. Learning many things in school is the same way.
