Welcome back to OUR channel everyone! If you’re new here, I’d like to welcome you to our family, and I encourage you to introduce yourself below. We sound like a cult, because we probably are.
It’s been requested lately for an anxiety/panic help video. I’ve done videos to help subside those feelings during an attack, and this is the exact same type of video - only using a different approach. Diversion. I start with manipulation of sounds, sounds so light they are barely audible (brushing). This has the mind thinking it’s paying attention to something important, so in the midst of a heart racing panic attack - this can help trick the mind into diversion to get your heart rate down and focus elsewhere. That alone will not stop a panic attack usually, so I then use typical (yet light) finger snapping to put the mind elsewhere as well. The summary of this video is multiple diversions using audio and visual stimulation to take away fight or flight during these attacks. I hope you enjoy this different approach family. If you know anyone suffering from these feelings, they may potentially benefit from this video or another ASMR type bit. So with that being said - sit back, relax, and let me trick to help your mind. Know I LOVE you, with ALL of my person, and I will see you tomorrow!!

Reading that gave me a flashback to summer camp when I was 11. Counselors had to do a full on mini-therapy session in a thunder shower because we were all stranded in the middle of the woods in the pouring rain. Low key, some kids thought we were gonna die. 😂

The psychological tricks she uses are perfect for people who are stressed. She keeps their attention as she asks how they feel about chocolate, coffee, rain, etc. So you forget the situation you're in. I love it

Hey. You. Count to ten. And at ten. Breathe in. And name these things. 1. something you love 2. Something that relaxes you. 3. Something that makes you happy 4. Some place you like to go 5. Someplace you want to be (This is a new technique to help you focus on happy and relaxing things) Next. Grab ice if you have access to it. Put the ice on the back of your neck. And breathe. (this is called mental shock it helps you focus on the cold rather than the thoughts you may be thinking) Tell me why are you crying again? You may not even have a reason if you do keep going Another technique. Grab a washcloth. Put HOT water on it. Lay it on your foot. (Put 2 on if you’d like) ❤️ ywwwwwwwww

I’ve been dealing with the worst anxieties of my life...the worst type of intrusive thoughts that feel so convincing and everyday is a tormenting hell from me from the moment I wake up. I feel I’m going insane. I just miss when I used to feel like myself, I don’t understand how it went like this...but I’m tired of it. I feel I can’t even sleep much. I feel like is so hard to function.. I hope to get better. I came here cause I wanna fall back to bed and I want to feel okay. Thank you, I started to feel relax. I love you. For those suffering, I love you all and pray and hope you all recover and find your inner peace.

I have felt the exact same way last year. I felt this whole pattern of anxietynand uneasiness would never end.I was helpless and miserable. But let me tell you it's all an illusion and it will end.Just hang on there. When we are in the middle of an anxiety period we feel we are completely stuck but trust me, you will come out of it. Praying for you to feel better as soon as you wake up tomorrow.Take care friend🤗

I got diagnosed with anxiety two months ago and I was having repeated very severe anxiety attacks which I like the ones you’re having right now I remember my school telling me that they had to call home about how i was feeling and I had the worst one I’ve ever had in my life lol For two hours I was a mess crying I was dizzy and I felt like I wanted to faint and I was hyperventilating wanted to throw up etcetc I didnt wanna be here and was seriously considering ending it all. I didnt and things got so much better from then. I hope your doing better now and i encourage you to get diagnosed if you havent already :) x

Sorry to hear that. You are not alone, I get intense panic attacks with no reason and one time I was losing my vision because of it until my mom hugged me and did my best to calm down. You can try healing frequencies to heal your inner child and release trauma, that's what I do. Meditation helps me someway. Forgive yourself, you are not being violent because you want to, you snapped and you are letting out someway. I can be violent sometimes with no consciousness about it but what hurts me is I can't feel anything about it, it is like I were living a life it is not mine at all and I can't find answers to solve it.

I got GAD. When I was little I thought someone was going to break in to my house and kill me. I also thought That if no one was upstairs when I was taking a shower, I would have a heart attack and die in my shower. It was a dark time to be 7 years old. If I had ASMR like this when I was little I don't think it would be that bad. Along with therapy, med's and videos like this I've been able to get control over my anxiety and not let it control my thoughts as much. I know that it will always be with me, but I have found It to be manageable. Thank you for making ASMR Karuna. You help me out.

I felt like running, crying, yelling, and curling up into a ball all at once, but I forced myself through your breathing exercises, I felt my heart and listened to you, I did my best to put all my attention on you and just as fast as it came, my anxiety started to fade away. Thank you and god bless you

A lil PSA: there is a difference between an anxiety and a panic attack. Anxiety attack: Typically shorter and a bit less intense. Triggered by something like being overwhelmed or stressed. Panic attack: Typically longer and can be a lot more intense. Not triggered by something. If this happens frequently, it may be a sign of an anxiety order and I recommend you go to a therapist or phycologist.

You are SO right! Anxiety attacks are always triggered by something and they usually go away once the trigger is gone. Panic attacks are free floating and come and go when they chose to. They do not necessarily have a trigger (these are the ones I suffer with). It’s usually a lot harder to come down from them since there’s never exactly a trigger. They’re also a lot more intense (to me anyways). It’s usually hard to tell the difference from the two.
@amaliadion5876
@amaliadion5876 4 жыл бұрын
For me, my anxiety attacks were an overload of stress caused by a trigger. You’re head tells you you’re in trouble and the anxiety starts to go from your stomach to your throat to your head. It’s mostly mental. Most of them lasted about an hour and others that I was able to control, ten minutes at best. And my panic attacks have happened suddenly, without any triggers. Your body is reacting as if you were in trouble and your heart starts hurting. It’s mostly physical. Ive had two up to date and they have been very quick, five minutes and with a healthy position and breathing , feet to the ground, I’ve gotten over them. For me the anxiety attacks are the worst since they’ve lasted longer and happen more often. The difference I can really see is that a panic attack is without a trigger and physical as to the anxiety attacks that have been with a trigger but mostly in the head, the stress goes up and I start crying and can’t stop. This video helped me a lot with my last anxiety attack and it helped me get over the one I felt coming on ten minutes ago.

I watched this video, and felt so much better, I was able to sleep afterwards after being up 30+ hours. These techniques are amazing, you seem to have such a grasp on these things, I downloaded this video so I can have it in case of emergency. All your other panic attack/anxiety videos are amazing too, but this one was exactly what I needed. When you kept saying "focus" it was so important. I was listening and I thought I heard a noise in my house, I was like maybe I should check it out what if someone is here to hurt me (it was 11am, doors were locked, I was just in a state) and you kept saying "focus" and I am so happy I didn't give in and pause. @Madelyn Matulis it’s the only thing keeping me sane, even though I know I’ll be okay my brain doesn’t seem to want to be programmed into thinking that, every time I start thinking about the anxiety and breathing it just happens :(

This video has been my go-to whenever I’ve been on the verge or middle of an attack, and I can’t stress enough how much it’s helped me. I had a terrible anxiety attack last year where I literally thought I was in my last moments and I searched youtube in a desperate act. My hands shaking and hardly able to breathe. And this saved me, took me somewhere else. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

I didnt understand what an anxiety/panic attack was really like until i had one at like 1am the other night and it was absolutely horrible. I literally had to google what i felt to realise it was an anxiety attack lmao. Idk why i previously had the notion that it would never happen to me. It felt so surreal and i felt so detached like i wasnt in myself?? If that makes sense 😂 thank everything in the universe i watched karuna's previous video on it. Feels like im forever in her debt ❤️

2:38 This part calmed me down. For me it was for my head, I feel like I can't concentrate and thinking I am delusional and when she said that your heart is still beating, I thought to myself "Your brain is fine, the panic and anxiety is causing you to think and maybe experience things that you may think as something bad but in fact you are fine and when this passes you will realise that you are fine and you will laugh" Also try to replace your panic with something else, I replace it with anxiety because it feels a lot less severe for me, then I get rid of the anxiety and mabye watch a relaxing video or something to get my mind off it. Also I just had an energy drink and that's probably why I'm not concentrating and I'm excited. Wow me writing this helped.
