glad you enjoyed it! i loved going to Turkey a few years back..the food is so yummy. By the way the Kunefe is also known as Knafeh in Palestine/Syria/Lebanon...it was first created in palestine and its traditionally eaten hot out of the oven or off the fire ..the cheese is all melty and its drizzled with lots of sugar syrup...amazing when eaten hot and fresh!

Künefe is a dessert native to the Hatay province of Turkey. 🙂

It’s a shame they didn’t give you “Ayran” (it’s basically yoghurt, water and salt) instead of the “Gazoz” for the drink. It’s like the national drink of Turkey after Tea. Great video tho 👍

Or "Şalgam", which is a fermented turnip(a different kind) juice with black carrots. It's very, very different drink that can overwhelm someone trying it for the first time 😃

I always used to buy box of Turkish sweets when I was transiting there in airport while flying back home. Of course it doesn’t compare to freshly made ones but it was still very good! My most favorite is pismaniye☺️

First dessert that you ate is called kazandibi, which simply means "the bottom of tray". The cream is prepared and cooked in such a way that the bottom gets a little bit burned and caramelized. While serving, bottom(caramelized) side is turned up :) There's no noodles involved with kazandibi. They probably miswrote something or mixed it up :)
