Hi guys, I guess you should go pee before watching this video, because on many other watersounds videos, it makes people wanna go to the bathroom :-D I'm curious if you're gonna like this or not... It's just that I had to change computers, that's why it took so long, because my laptop can't handle videos like this. It would like, blow up almost xD

I love that you're telling the stories of Greek Mythology. It adds a whole new dimension to ASMR videos for me. And your story-telling voice is hypnotic! You could just read stories and poems for me and I'd be asleep well before you finish!

I've tried to "watch" this at least 10 times, no kidding. But I fall asleep like 4-5 min in. Today, I "watched" again and got to see the whole video. So lovely and soothing. I love water- any water sounds. But the beautiful lighting and soothing voice and the mythology stories. Very well done. Thank you for the high level of quality you bring to your craft!

Excellent water sounds. Love the lighting and set up, too. One of my first ASMR experiences was going to an expensive restaurant as a child and watching the server bring fancy water glasses to the table and fill them for us. So this video clip takes me back.

Good Lord you are brilliant!!! A perfect follow-up to your flame video. I don't know about anyone else, but I get more reading done in a jacuzzi (which is what I would call your tub) or a hot tub (bigger and meant for more people) than almost anywhere else. The splash of the water, the soothing white noise, and a nice drink by my side, and I can get lost in a book for hours. Not sure how healthy it is :P I wish jacuzzis came standard in every house and apartment because they're very hard to come by :(

Hi thanks for your brilliant words 😁 But you know, I got a shower next to it and I basically never use the Jacuzzi anymore. I feel to guilty using all that water, also for making this video. A whole hour, again! Nice! Firstly, the sound levels are right - yet again - and the explanation as to why is very thoughtful.Then... the introduction... being able to see how much enjoyment you derive from presenting the material, especially the way your eyes light up; that engagement is worth so much compared to other ASMR providers who hide their faces (mostly because they hide behind some gimmick, which usually encompasses their body in some way). You seem to be in the same vein as the French Whisperer for the depth of study, and maybe Whispers Red for the hand motions.Don't hide behind a veneer of 'professionalism'; make sure people can see the enjoyment you obviously derive from this. ASMR means so much more when you can engage with your audience with smiles and giggles...

You asked for feedback. Here's some things I think could be better: 1. The volume could be louder. Its easier for those who want quiet to turn it down than for those who want louder to turn it up. I have it at full volume but don't feel "engulfed" in the sound, by the room, or experience. 2. The EQ is very brittle. It sounds like you could use some more low end, and even a little more mid. But definitely more bass. 3. I don't know if you're using noise reduction software or not, but it sounds like the very high end is being stifled by something. Maybe it's just your mics. Noise reduction kills ASMR frequencies. Some white noise is okay anyway. If it's too bad, you can usually find the cause to be electrical: i.e. crossed wires, cables not grounded, faulty USB, etc. Try to keep things that emit electromagnetic waves (electricity or light) away from cables that transfer sound (mic cable and/preamp cable) and speaker cables. There's a lot of studio tutorials on wiring that boost recording quality and eliminate unwanted feedback online. hope this helps.

+James B Hey James, thanks for the feedback. Indeed I struggle with the volume. The last video, there I amplified it more. Did you hear much difference? The problem is also that I got a bunch of cars passing by untill very late. Here I had thrown on a high pass filter to filter the bass tones out, so the cars were almost gone. But I ended up with a dry, high end sound. I do use noise reduction in Audacity but really, I just don't find the right settings. Everytime my voice gets robotic. I record in a bedroom and there are no other noises besides the cars outside. Good tip about the cables, that I'll remember. When I do hear disturbance by a light, I put it away. Then, I got 3 microphones. In the watervideo nr1, In the show and tell of little items, another one, the third is a binaural set which I used for the Comic Con videl. Strange but my preference goes to the binaural ones, less white noise so it seems. It's an eternal search for the perfect sound. Not not easy at all.. 😊

I see. It's always hard with things like cars and other ambient noises. Some people don't like them, while others prefer them for a more realistic experience. I, for one, do not mind if they're not overly intrusive. As for the white noise, you already noticed that noise removal makes you sound robotic. A lot of ASMR artists don't and it ruins it. As I said, anything in the electromagnetic spectrum can interfere with audio signals. Even though they all wrapped in chords, some of the energy escapes these chords. While it's not dangerous to humans, something as sensitive as audio recording cables will definitely pick it up. When I worked in a studio, that was the biggest thing was to keep all the wires neat and organized, and each type of wire away from another. So all power chords in one group, all aux chords in another, all USB in another, etc. Sometimes I would get a lot of white noise between my MBox (I/O box for Pro Tools) and the PC and realized it was just a shitty USB chord. Try to get all your accessories from a good audio dealer. Noise removal was created for music, typically. All of the analog equipment, instruments, etc. had tiny bits of white noise that, when combined, wound add up to a bunch of white noise. And so mastering engineers would carefully remove as much as they can. But now with most plugins being digital, most of the problems with noise can be solved without noise removal.

+James B I didn't know that cables were that important. My equipment is purchased from a good dealer. I don't go for the cheapest stuff. Allthough I might change the XLR tables because they're pretty standard. Someone told me that this shouldn't be underestimated. But it's a question of knowing how to use it right too like you describe. It takes time and experience.

I listened to your newest video and could hear an improvement like you said. It still sounded sort of brittle. I guess if I was to find a female ASMR artist to get ideas for mixing from, it would be either ***** or *****. voxonaut ASMR has a good quality too, aside from the noise removal.

Ardra is a master in that.. That's for sure...The other 2 are of course also top quality for ASMR standards. I got a lot of exploring to do... But Maria's voice, she can talk into any type of microphone, don't care. I still listen to her very old stuff too, what she recorded with her phone.

I'm ok with the way things are and having a fulltime job makes it hard to spend more time on making videos.. Unless that company goes broke or kicks me out 😂 Then I'll jump on the video career 😁

Sound quality is great if you would like to improve it a bit I would use some de-esser. I'm shure somebody edited that sound, because I can't hear any noise and every word is clear, but sometimes some sibilance is piercing a bit. Anyway just a detail in fact it's a great video, thanks !
