Isn't that where the Phoenicians originated? The founders of Carthage? A city located in the North African coast in the present day country of Tunisia.

the Phoenicians also developed the first written language ( no hieroglyphs, actual alphabet) that they used for trading

@@felynia they also have Greeks letters and according to Greek myth, europe is named after Europa who was a Phoenician princess from Tyre (south Lebanon).
