Africa was the cradle of our species, was home to some of the oldest cultures, has some of the most fantastic geography and wildlife ever, to say nothing of its peoples yet we’re taught virtually nothing about it. I was lucky enough to have an awesome teacher in high school who was more than happy to enlighten me more when I actually read the section in our history textbook (that wasn’t required reading). Creating and sharing content like this means more than you know.

One of the coolest flags and I’ve always been interested in southern African history as its underrated compared to the rest of Africa, as beside the country of South Africa, the rest of the countries dont get much spotlight

Cecil Rhodes did not Name Rhodesia after himself. It was named after him ,not by him. I get he was a controversial figure, but lying to try and demonise certain people no matter how bad they are or were; will never help anyone in finding the truth
