I'm a nursing student. Its not the methods bc the placebo effect is real! It's the "this helps with... some chemicals" like around 2:00. Claim therapeutic effect, sure, but don't claim or fake knowing the chemical makeup of the body if you can't even name the main hormones, ions, and chemicals involved in heart function omg.

I genuinely cannot explain it in a comprehensive way, the many pages on it looks like a fever dream. From what I can gather, the test’s purpose is designed to listen to the body for the root causes by checking all pressure points. Essentially, it’s a muscular test that forces the body to respond by dropping the arm down due to the automatic nervous system reducing energy to the extended arm. Then the treatment options afterward is to essentially ask the body if you want “X nutrients” and see if the body responds. If so, give “X”, if not, don’t give “X”. The whole test is based on a thought that the body knows what it needs and will respond accordingly if placed in close proximity. It’s the same thought process as “I want a Banana” which could mean your body is running low on Potassium. Accuracy depends on the physician, it’s got no scientific reasoning behind it at all. It’s a big placebo effect of a test. Thats about all I can say on it without popping multiple blood vessels trying to rack my head around the concept and how it came to be.

I've done it, it's bizarre. A lot of the provider waving her arms around, tapping on me, and moving my arms around. To test a food, they put it in one hand and see if they can push the other arm down. If they can, that food is not good for you. If they cannot push your arm down, that food is ok. I always thought that. These people get ASMR and think it has worked. I was seeing a girl that used to do healing so I asked her to do it to me for chronic pain. I got no benefit except for tingles during the 'healing'. I just kept on letting her try though!!! It was Tingle city...but the shame was that tingles don't heal nerve damage. Who knew?!?!
