We say Ashobi instead of Aso Oki in Sierra Leone. I think it's just a mispronunciation of the word itself that we normalized. Thanks for sharing.

Exactly, you're right about that. You guys mispronounced it. It's actually called "Aso-ebi" which means "family attire" in Yoruba.
