Just sharing my ideas one of my favorite book series, A Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin. This video may contain spoilers for those of you who are not up to date with the series. That goes for the HBO show and the books.
I'm just speculating and guessing on some ideas that I have on how future events will transpire in the series. Keep in mind however, I know nothing.

I really think the three eye raven is plotting something with the Night King, he didnt really die, he just reencarnate in Bran... he cheated Bran, remember that scene with Bran talking to old nan, he says the 3 eye raven was calling him to go the north and she said : "dont listen crows, they are all liars". They new Bran saw the future, drogon flying on kings landing, Vyserion dying, he could stop every single bad event but he just let them be...

The Prince of Winterfell chapter in dance. Theon is at Ramsey's wedding. Theon notices how everything seems gray. Like the real aryas eyes. He's goes one to notice that everyone there appears to look like they are dead. And there eyes are all cold blue. Heres the kicker. The moon is thin, just like the moon in brand vision earlier. Perhaps Theon is getting a glimpse into the future. The bloodtree even calls his name. I think Bran calling to Theon gives him these visions/thoughts.

I think the fact that the children had such a low population and the fact that 1 in 1000 where skinchangers and 1 in 1000 skinchangers are greenseers is exactly why the children mated with humans. Humans have always had greater numbers than the children and greater numbers equal greater chances for Greenseers and they need greenseers to continue to keep the knowledge within the weirwood. Greenseers are essentially the computer that reads the info within the weirwood net.

I actually think contrary to popular belief the serie and the book will finish with the magic coming back to the world , many thinks it will all fade out and go away ( dragons , childrens of the forest, Red god magic and so on ) but i think making all the magic disappear and having Sam maybe finishing the book called A Song of Ice and Fire .... i feel it would be way too tolkienish , i think having the magic coming back and still being bittersweet would be the way to go

I think so too, because it would be a pretty good subversion in the fantasy genre because most fantasy series end with the fading of magic and usually with the beginning of an "age of Men" sort of situation.

Bloodraven is one of my favourite characters in the books and one of my favourite characters in literature, I've always found him hard to trust he's more cunning than Littlefinger and Varys combined he's also very capable making him more dangerous. In his brief appearance in The Mystery Knight he gives you an uneasy feeling and I don't think Egg was ever truly out of his sight after that. My wondering is maybe Bloodraven is the villain maybe he's willing to sacrifice one body for another or maybe he was willing to sacrifice his mortal body because it limited his abilities what if the white walkers know that mortal men and women should not have such power, or maybe in an even more cunning ploy Bloodraven has manipulated the events of Westeros both south and beyond the wall, maybe his ultimate goal is to be a god when the worlds of man and white walkers have killed each other. But does he see himself as a villain or is it justifiable sacrifice like Leto Atreides from the Dune series maybe Bloodraven has seen a brighter future after the seven kingdoms and the wall fall and maybe beyond the narrow sea great nations will fall, but has Bloodraven seen a brighter future for mankind or himself if there was a god emperor of Yi Ti maybe he was not so great and the people brought him low because no one man should have all that power. Every tyrant finds a justification for his tyranny.

I would say the 3 eyed raven was just catching Bran in his net. He was showing him what he could do if he went deeper and deeper. Knowing well that this would make Bran more and more open for possession. And slowly but steady the 3 eyed raven took full control.

YEEESSSS!!! This is my theory. Brenden and Bran are NOT the 3ER they are possessed by the entity of the 3ER. I also think that at moments Brenden Rivers consciousness would come to the surface and subtlely try and warn Bran what was really going on. "Don't stay too long or you will drown" "You will never walk but you will FLY" If this theory is right we need to look for Bran's consciousness peaking out of the 3ER, like the movie "Get Out"!!! Another clue was when the Night King entered the cave he immediately killed Brenden. Max von Sydow acting was sublime his faced showed the exact opposite of what he was saying.

It's an interesting theory, but let's not forget that the spearwife Varamyr tried to possess lost her shit and tore out her own eyes to keep him "out of her head". Hodor is a coward, and loyal to Bran, so he wouldn't react as violently to Bran taking the reins but Bloodraven? From what we know of him, he had an extraordinary will and cunning. I doubt he's the children's slave However I do like to think that both the children and Bloodraven are unknowingly serving something greater

Interesting theory, but Brenden Rivers was kind of like a prophetic wizard even before he joined the nights watch. I believe that he could see the future and intended to join the children of the forest all along.

My theory is Bran will be the ultimate bad guy and the Night King will be a hero. Bare with me..... We dont understand the intentions of the Night King and I have a suspicion that before the story is finished we will see his perspective of this war and his motivations. No one in Game of Thrones is all "good" or "bad". Its more complex a story than that. We only relate to the villains because we see their perspectives, see the world through their eyes and understand them. Jamie is a child murderer, Cersei is a psychopathic narcissist, yet we like them as characters and are peoples favourites. The Night King is the ultimate bad guy but I dont this GRRM will leave us thinking that in the end. The story flips normal stereotypes and story plots on its head. When you think you know which way it will go, he surprises us and makes us change character allegiances (Stannis for example when he burned alive his own daughter or Jamie in the bath confessing to Breinne). The ultimate plot twist will be if the Night King is coming to actually stop and kill Bran who will use the Children's magic to destroy Westeros like the children did with the arm of Dorne and possibly (most likely) Valyria (with the help of the first faceless men). The Night King has been fighting to stop the rise of that power (why he goes into the cave and kills the old 3 eyed raven) and the extinction of his people/children. Bran will be the ultimate bad guy and the Night King will be a hero. This story shows us the complexities of the human psyche, 50 shades of grey. No good or evil but a mixture of both. Bran is a good character at the beginning of the story however the saying that there is no happily ever after and time “f*cks us all” by Davos makes me think that the good characters will flip and ultimately what we think we know about the “heroes” and “villains” doesn't matter because everyone changes according to circumstances and experience. Bran is no different. He’s done some truly disturbing things, including raping Hodor’s mind. Its only because he's a child that we think he's good. Like Joffery, we only saw his true sadistic side come out when he was given real power. Bran has just levelled up (so to speak) and he has gone very emotionally cold and detached from the people around him. Power corrupts, and Bran is now the most powerful person in Westeros.

Excellent theories. I personally feel that problem with this TV show is they could not do proper justice as you have done with this theory and George Martin subtle and informative story telling. So we are now getting a pared down version- dare I say a Disney version of G of T, ( Waiting for the rousing song or two like you get in a Disney movie) of the story. Maybe I'm being harsh there, because when the writing good the actors do step up and delieve. D&D have had enough they are probably maxed out, so have boxed themselves in by having only 13 espiode for season 7 & 8. In one respect I can sympathise with them but for the fans I feel the fans are being shortchanged. So now it's rush rush to finish. Thanks for explaining about the C of the F and what could be their agenda. Q&A do you think that the Children beyond the Wall are all dead but their maybe some Children on the Isle of Faces? 1. If the NK , Bran, Jon and Dany are the constant in this theory what are the important variables or the side stories connects these dots for why these 4 characters are so important. 2. I seriously don't believe in Lord of light theory and it's just a name of a religion given to it. The whole plot involves some kind of inner/sub consciousness able to penetrate human mind which they give the name of dreams. 3. I do believe that NK and Bran has some connection for the fact that NK is the only person who was able to see Bran in his green dreams. I don't think Bran being marked by NK has anything to do with NK escaping wall. Interesting. Its absolutely possible GRRM told something about that to the showrunners. Notice how Bran has said in the last season he IS the 3 eyed raven NOW. Also the distance he seemed to have to his siblings. The way as he told Sansa that she was pretty on her wedding night. It could all make lots of sense if its no longer Bran speaking. And he had quite a change on behaviour after his predecessor´s death. He also sent Meera away without any emotional link. You may be onto something……. I don´t know if the show will go as far as reveal the sad truth. But pretty much everything in Bran´s behaviour would be plausible with the abomination scenario.

A huge part in this is Bran's ability to skinchange into humans. He keeps it a secret even from Bloodraven and the Children. It's possible they already know and just have not told him, or perhaps it is something they didn't count on. They knew Bran was strong, but if he's powerful enough to possess a man (when he is merely a child, and when he was capable of fully controlling Hodor when his powers weren't even fully awakened by the weirwood/Jojen paste), perhaps he will be powerful enough to fight for control once Bloodraven transfers his mind into Bran's body.

What if instead of a children greenseer, it is actually the Nights King. There was a weirwood in the nightfort, and his soul could have escaped into the weirwood network before his body was killed. Brynden chooses to appear to bran as a crow which might imply ties to the nights watch and it would also make sense why he targets a Stark to take his place since the nights king was a stark. Perhaps him and the children are working with the others to take over Westeros and he wants to rule over the north in the body of a stark. It would be very George RR Martin like for the man that scares bran more than any other of old nans stories is the one he’s headed to. Also since we know that hold the door will be appearing in George’s books, I think it’s safe to say that bran will escape as well in the book, only this time instead of being helped out by the children, he’ll be running from them.

Perhaps the weirwood net and the collected consciousness of the children and the last greenseer is what allows total control of the body, not just possession. Perhaps that's why the tree must grow through Bloodraven. When the concept of a second life of a skinchanger inside their animal is discussed, it's said that eventually the person will completely fade, overwhelmed by the animal. Their spirit is still there, but the mind dominating everything is the animal. That suggests the same would happen if the last greenseer possessed another greenseer. They could control the body for a time, but eventually the strength of their mind would wither and the person who owned the body would come to dominate it. But perhaps with the entire collective consciousness of the children of the forest existing within one mind, it is possible for them to overwhelm the original consciousness and stay in power.

This answered something that just started bothering me all the sudden today. Were told the 3 eyed raven is the last greenseer but we know that isn't the case. Jojen is one, and we can assume Bran is as well. The idea that it was the last greenseer of the children of the forest that makes way more sense, but it also tells us that they aren't talking about the same 3 eyed raven. To me it seems like the real job of the 3 eyed raven is to take on this burden. You know everything you see everything, but you can't do anything about it, presumably unless you are forwarding returning balance to the universe. (Kind of like a lot of peoples idea of gd in the modern day an all seeing all knowing, being that doesn't or can't change things). Really interesting video and timing because I couldn't find anything that specifically mentioned how bloodraven cant be the last greenseer.

very interesting theory, but the whole concept of "last greenseer" as we know it from the children's words doesn't seems to be valid as Bran (while in Hodor) founds other "singers" in the roots while he's walking deeper into the caves, so it seems that the last greenseer is posessing not only Bloodraven's mind but minds of other singers as well, which may support the idea of Steven Yanis's comment about net possessing those who's connected to it and childrens aren't telling whole truth

I always thought of BloodRaven as likely having some form of Stockholm Syndrome, when it came to the CotF. After so many years of being dependent on the Children for food, water and company; whatever loyalty for his own race that he once held has been leeched and/or brainwashed out of BloodRaven. I like this theory as well though.

My first reaction to this idea was that if the Children are controlling a corpses of Bloodraven, why would they say things that confirm the identity of Bloodraven(such as referencing the rivalry with Bittersteel/ romance with Seastar, saying he watched with "a thousand eyes and one") but then I realized since Bloodraven is kinda infamous, whoever's controlling him would have to assume Bran knew some of Bloodraven's backstory and as such, says these things as part of the ruse Which then made me realize that whoever is puppeteer of Beric and Stoneheart is doing something similar. The only clue we get that Beric is still himself is him referencing a maid and castle he can only vaguely recall. And since its common knowledge that he's a Lord and was betrothed to a Dayne, that really inst much evidence that it's mentally him. And with Stoneheart, as the only non-Frey/Bolton survivors of the Red Wedding are prisoners, she could literally say any person with a flayed man or Twins insignia was part of it and no one would question her.

The last greenseer would have become more Bloodraven by the day. Until their was no longer the greenseer but, only a Bloodraven these long decades after. I like this idea since Bloodraven would be himself but with a touch of the influence by the last greenseer of the children. Would be another clue to what happens to a warg in its second life
