honestly, I might have bailed on this run the second I encountered the criminal syndicate. Much as I love the /idea/, the actual implementation is just fantastically tedious unfun whether you're playing them or just sharing a galaxy with them.

Yeah they are bullsh#t to play against. and i hate them with every fiber of my being. Had 2 of them in my save. They were to far away for me to conquer them but close enough for them to spam my planets with crime. It Was hell, so i kept declaring war to remove them and got a few years of respite and then repeat. Finally destroyed them both but sheesh it was annoying.

I loved my game going down the crisis path, i was in a long standing alliance with the Galactic Custodians. And when i got to the end game when everyone declared war on me, they also where on my side, so ened up.having to of the largest fleets against the Galaxy, and pretty much went with no problem

Self imposed challenge, no researcher run! Would be glorious to see how far not researching tech can go. My guess your only path is to rush become the crisis and get techs from star eaters to pump out a half decent fleet before the others finish you off.

Sry dude. Have to unsub all my Paradox game content creators. Paradox is shutting down Cities 2 players. Because they released it barely playable. I wanted to play it but was waiting for ANY improvement, which has not materialized. So in solidarity for Cities players, my Paradox games are in the penalty box. Just going to wait and see what their actions are with my fellow gamers. Before I move it to the boycott box, with EA, Ubisoft and Rockstar. Companies that cheated players once. I only give one chance. There should be no second chances, because they will just do it again.
