Total ripoff of a novel published in 2019, This Tender Land, by Wm Kent Krueger. 10xs better that Amor Towles story. Who has time to read a 500-page book? Boring as hell, filled with very murky characters including one who is mentally unhinged and another, a murderous thug. Two vulnerable and naive boys cast into the abyss with these two? Really? Much more intriguing, positive, gentle and inspired storyline in Krueger's novel set in a rural Midwest America of another time.
