I remember listening to this when my dad was a truck driver, I cried once while listening. Unaware he would abandon me and my mom, I think of this as a reminder I did nothing wrong . It breaks my heart to think he changed so much. I feel for all the boys and girls who don’t see their dad, I haven’t seen mine in a year and I feel broken . To all those kids who still have their dads, cherish them forever... 😊 they are supposed to be examples and role models for their children, my dad taught me I can’t trust anyone ... not even him.
@maxbenitez33912 жыл бұрын
I feel your pain, but i also wanted to share a different point of view. It's popular belief that your parents are the ones that are supposed to be there for their young, but what if he is the one that needs rescuing? And God put you in this world and in his life because you were your father's keeper? I know plenty of adults who were saved from falling into darkness by their own children who do not quit on the parent and will not accept any rejection of feeling there of... It's a hard concept to think about but "we" as young children don't understand how truly powerful we can be by simply loving hard
@cheyannknepp64982 жыл бұрын
@@maxbenitez3391 I understand your point of view, I’ve been in contact with my dad for a few months after blocking and removing his number from my phone. It pains me to say I will more than likely never trust my dad ever again after how he hurt and lied both my mom and I. He lied to us and made my mom believe she was the reason their marriage fell apart while he was working, in all reality it was because of his home wrecker (his friend’s wife).

My wife, and the little girl of her wonderful father, is Alison. When the day's are gray, nothing's wrong when Ali smiles! ❤️ I also love my daughters, Ashley, and Brittany that way. They will always be my little girl, and I pray that Jesus will give them a husband that will love them that way. Men that will lay down their lives for their little girls, just as Jesus laid down his life for everyone who is ever born, in the name of his daddy of love, who sent him into the world for that purpose, to seek and save the hopelessly lost, for the Father is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to salvation in Jesus Christ. He rose from the grave and conquered fear and death that we may also. He's coming again for us soon, who are saved by his perfect life, and work, and position to take upon himself our sins. For by grace are we saved by faith, not of our own works, but by the gift of God, lest any should boast. Unless we have the faith of a little child, of daddy's little girl or boy, we can in no way enter the Kingdom of Heaven. It's all written in his perfect book, which he promised to preserve perfectly and completely, and has indeed done that in English with the royally authorizes King James Bible, in which there need be no shadow of doubt. For only the forces and children of the enemy question it's authority, and cause people to doubt. It's the Old Age Movement, which began in the Garden of Eden, when Satan asked, Hath God said? Eat, and you will be like God. He's a liar, theif, destroyer, and murderer. But the gates of hell will never prevail against the children of God, which is the true Church. Many churches have fallen from these truths in these last days, as was foretold in the Bible back through several thousand years ago. But not one word of God will be untrue, or fall by the wayside until all is fulfilled. So call upon the Lord Jesus right now, and repent of your sins, receive him into your heart, and you will instantly be saved and a member of the family of God, and nothing and no one can pluck you from his hand.
@alanericksen71028 ай бұрын
And I pray our son Craig will do this for his hopefully future wife, whomever she may be. I'm so thankful that my family has all received Jesus as their Lord and Saviour! None of us will be perfect until Heaven. But I give thanks unto the LORD for he is good, and his mercy endureth forever.
