I really hate the electric lock with a passion. People just don’t care about security. I can see the door’s being opened from the other side of the world letting people in.

That's the point of them... Letting people in when you're not home. If people really want into your home they're getting in through a window or breaking the door down anyway. Smart locks are for convenience.

From working for ASSA a few years ago I know these aren't fire rated. The NZ info used to have something about it being non fire rated, but couldn't see it.

Never really been a fan of Yales electronic locks, always issues with apps and whatnot. Bad and overengineerd morticelocks that require too much unrepairable modifications, they are also way to overpriced imo. I have the most experiance with their Doorman locks, not a fan. Im not really a fan of ASSA any more, they are very greedy and dont really deliver good products any more. Im happy i found good products to replace both system cyilnders and electronic locks from smaller local business' that far exceeds their quality & price
