considering severely limited resources a sincere effort by the makers ...commendable. the market for these kind of videos is quite significant if made properly. artistic representations of the palaces of they might have been like in their glory is an area which needs to be explored as the descriptions are already in our texts in detail..

I just came across this video, thanks to the lockdown due to Covid-19. It's a real eye-opener for us other tribals of Mongoloid descent in the other states of the North East. A very commendable effort to highlight the origins and the incredible history of the Tai-Ahom people.

I was born half Ahom. My father could never really teach me much about the history of our people on account of him being too busy and us not being able to find so much time together. This trip to my roots is probably the closest I'll ever be to my kin and I thank you for showing me the way

Awesome effort on your part. Especially like the first person narrative style. Assamese history is so awesome and interesting its a shame that a lot of Indians are unaware of it. Keep up the good work.

Did you make this video single-handedly ? If so, you were deserved the highest respect from others. It is admirable for whose people who strive hard to single-handedly make something worthwhile not only for himself but also for his people. Keep up this good job and your spirit.

Hehe... :) Thank you so much. With no official crew, took assistance from family and friends for shooting. Did research and post production on my own. The urge to tell this story was irresistible as I was amazed and wanted to share it with the world. With constraints, had to employ some novelty. It was a learning experience though. Maybe this can motivate others (or me later on) to create at a bigger scale or canvas with more financial budgets and trained crew.
