Connor is a massively underrated and misjudged character. Ezio was heartwarming, Altair was badass and honorary, but the way Connor strugles with his sense of justice in a world where justice is quite frankly non existent. Also the way his vengeance, his bludlust turns into cristal clear duty becouse of the betrayals he suffers by the very ones he looked up to. Thank you Ubisoft for bringing him to life. All hail Connor!

After the conclusion of the Ezio series, it makes sense people would be latched onto the perfect person Ezio was. But in hindsight, Connor was a perfect assassin to follow up the series. Connor a assassin born out of pain, suffering, and vengeance his story was in so many ways painful and sad yet that never broke his spirit loosing his mother at a very young age, losing his mentor who was in many ways seen as a father figure, having to end the life of both his childhood friend and father, despite peoples complain Connor Kenway was a great assassin and he had a wonderful story he stands at the top of my list of favorite assassins happy birthday Ratonhnhaké:ton.

SuperSaiyan3985 many people failed to see why he was the way he was they saw a plain empty unemotional person who had no excitement no spark of charm like ezio but then again no many people lost their mothers at a very young age lost their mentor father like figure or had to kill their own best friends and fathers his life was hard and the game captures a very realistic aspect of life that not everything is bright and colorful his story is wonderfully made :)

Ratonhnhaké:ton = "life that is scratched". I have nothing against Ezio but to those Ezio fanboys...most of you just like AC2s story not EZIO per se. And because u didnt like the story in AC3 u think Connor has no character. Ezio had help from many people, Connor had help only from Achilles and in the end SPOILER ALERT he too passed away. Connor was left alone completely. But he never gave in and never surrendered. Even in the end when the people he protected turned their backs on him he still went forward. THIS is badassery.

Ezio watched his father, older brother (both whom he greatly looked up to), younger brother (whom he felt responsibility for) be hanged for crimes they did not commit. Had to comfort and watch his sister, as she grieved then become something he never wanted for her (becoming a weapon herself as well as the madam of a brothel), had to leave his one true love then return to have her die in his arms (RIP Cristina). Had to watch yet another close father figure die in front of him, as his new found home, Monteriggioni, was burned to the ground (RIP Tio Mario). Then in his older years, as he traveled, and was on the run, had his newly made closest friend/brother killed while trying to defend his newly found love, Sofia (RIP Yusuf). I don't know, Ezio's tragedies seemed to be rather more consistent in his life than Connor, who (it looked like) got to retire at a rather young age, at Davenport, while Ezio kept going until his mid fifties. Not belittling Connor's suffering. He went through a lot, but it's hard to overlook all that Ezio went through too.

I loved Connor's development because he understood what the fight, as in, the struggle for what he believed in truly meant. Maybe it felt like he was too naive at the start and that he was just trying to pursue achieving freedom recklessly for his people (and getting revenge for his mother in the process), but soon it came to him that true freedom meant so much more than for those around him, meant more even that of what he could achieve in his lifetime. He understood what being an assasin is about because it is a struggle that continues even if one cannot see the end to it and thus, it also means that those shared goals are ones that he or anyone after him should never give up pursuing.

Wanna know why Ezio is liked so much by the AC community? It's probably because the community back then mostly consisted of these "Cool Kids" and because ezio acted their way it's what drawed their attention so when we got Connor a really good Assassin who was serious about what he was doing that drove them away which is why we have more of a community now that is more constructive about their reviews on the AC franchise instead of "Bring Ezio Back!" So I guess we can all thank Connor for that too.

You know if you look at it, Ezio and Connor do have a social difference too. Ezio created the made a Brotherhood and met many Assassins in his years. He was very social and we all took a liking to him throughout his Arc. He is essentially what we would call a “Wolfpack” type. Connor however was more distant and less talkative. He made very few friends and had to burden his troubles and pains alone. Other than his mother, his best friend and maybe even Achilles, to him everyone was either an obstacle or a threat. Yet when the going becomes harsh, he pushes through and survives. He’s literally the embodiment of the Lone Wolf type.

Quel superbe montage qui retrace exactement la vie de Connor :3 ♥. Personnellement AC III est mon préféré de toute la saga car au moment où il est sorti, on est enfin sorti du contexte de la Renaissance et on a arrêté de se focaliser sur Ezio. Là on a découvert de nouveaux paysages, une nouvelle époque, un nouveau mode de combat,et de nouveaux personnages comme Haytham (the best templier :D) et la belle Ziio. Puis un magnifique assassin est né : Ratonhnhaké:ton/Connor ♥ (perso je le trouve bien beau *-*). Il agit de façon censé dans tout ce qu'il fait, il est réfléchi. What I don't understand is how Haytham could be loved more than Connor? Haytham was a cold blooded killer who murdered people and preferred his Templar brother over his own son. I personally believe that we weren’t ready to embrace Connor when he was introduced into the series. He was stoic, determined, unwavering, and forthright. Qualities Ezio only developed later in his life. We as an audience identified more with Ezio as a charismatic and suave assassin because it was fun. When Connor came into the series he was considered one note and boring but that’s a complete misunderstanding of his character. His direct and to the point attitude was blunt and at the time I was too immature to appreciate the kind of strength and courage Connor displayed. In hindsight he’s truly one of the best characters the series has given us and is a true example to strive towards.

Ezio and all the assassins had someone to nudge them to the right path from the very beginning whereas Connor lost almost everyone that's worth something in the beginning itself, no influence from the outside world and born and brought up in the ways of tribe, respect and nature, he was oblivious to the true potential of human greed and ruthlessness because he was surrounded by people that upholded honour and righteousness, until he met Achilles, all the mistakes ends there. He finally understands the game.

Can we all just agree that out of all the Assassin's... Connor was just so damn Wholesome at times and I loved it! He doesn't see skin color at the very beginning, he helps the people of the homestead with even the simplest things, and even though he knew he'd have to kill him deep down he was hoping to find common ground and peace with his father. Bottom line he is pure stabby boy and I love him

Timax Pkm Il semblerait qu'il y soit mort, suite à un saut de branche en branche mal calculé, et qu'il soit tombé sur un tronc de 13cm de diamètre lui ayant provoqué une douloureuse sodomie surprise, lui perforant nombre de boyaux au passage. Joyeux anniversaire Ratonhnhaké:ton ;) !!! Tu nous manques à tous :') (même si certains n'osent pas te le dire, au fond ils t'aiment énormément :) ) ! Perso je les aime tous et ce pour différentes raisons mais celui qui m'aura le plus marqué c'est Connor. En effet, contrairement à ce qu'on dit, Connor est tout sauf un héros badass. Là où Ezio est celui auquel on aimerait tous ressembler, Connor est celui qui pourrait être n'importe lequel d'entre-nous. Il a des failles, des défauts et fait des erreurs comme nous. Au fond il est très réaliste et humain comme personnage. De plus, pour ce qui sont passés ) côté, jouez aux missions de recrutements des Assassins dans Boston et New-York ainsi qu'au mission pour le domaine. Ce sont mes deux catégories de missions favorites et je les préfèrent à l'intrigue principale. C'est dans ces intrigues secondaires qu'on découvre quel personnage complexe, humain et attachant est Connor. Le problème c'est qu'on ne peut pas s'attacher à un personnage avec seulement un jeu ( surtout après qu'on est passé trois jeux avec Ezio ( plus AC Discovery et les courts-métrages Lineage, Ascendance et Embers ) ) . Je tiens aussi à signaler qu'au début je n'ai pas vraiment aimer Ezio et avait préféré Altaïr. Mais avec Brotherhood et Revelations, je me suis attaché à lui et je l'aime énormément finalement. Je pense que c'est pareil pour Connor. On ne peut pas aimer un personnage aussi complexe en un jeu et le laisser sur son échec à la fin du III. Nous devons savoir ce qu'il devient après, comment il évolue et ainsi, en le voyant évolué et changé par rapport à Assassin's Creed III, je suis sûr qu'il deviendrait un personnage des plus appréciés par les fans. Après ce n'est que mon avis. Les goûts et les couleurs cela ne se discute pas comme on dit ;) .

connor is my favorite because (1)he had more tragic story than all other playable assassins his mother burned in front of his face and his village got burned when he was a young kid and his friend/ was like a brother to him died and the army betrayed connor by attempting to destroy and burn his village and his real father that connor tried to make him one of the brotherhood and saving him from the templars he died / and his mentor achillis who trained connor to become one of the brotherhood has passed out leaving conner all by himself---- and if that wasn't enough his village that he tried to protect from the beginning of connors story are gone somewhere because of the army leaving connor all alone in the world. (2nd) i think he has more skills than any other assassins he can trace anything and climb trees and can handle a ship and ruthless in fighting and can hunt because he began learning in young age from his village to trace and hunt and climb trees then he learned from achillis to become an assassin. (3rd) he never cave up no matter what happened to his life and without help from any other assassins he fought the templars all by himself. i think they should've made assassin creed 3 into 2 games because of connor story its tooo tragic and dark so we can feel connor story deeply.

Connor will always be my favorite, but I don't understand the notion that he wasn't a fun character. He wasn't meant to be fun, he was meant to show you how tragedies can shape a man and his conviction. Anyone who suffered as much as Connor would be lucky to be even that happy. He lost his mother at 5, was trained by a less than encouraging mentor, rebuilt the Assassin order after the Great Purge all by himself, was forced to kill his best friend, found out that George Washington, a man he respected and rooted for had ordered an attack on his people, TWICE, the other founding fathers used him as blunt instrument against the British, and on top of that had to kill his own father.
