A nice little detail I like to recall is that Ezio's son is named Marcello. In Revelations, Ezio states that Suleiman is a remarkable young man, and that his father should be proud of him. If you remember, when Ezio is talking to Suleiman and Prince Ahmed shows up, Suleiman presents Ezio as his "european advisor, Marcello". I like to think Ezio named his son in honour of Suleiman, because by the time Ezio's son would have been born, sultan Suleiman "the Magnificent" was already one of the best rulers of Europe

you know the weird thing, this speech sounds like it was inspired by the USA constitution and many other concepts of the founding fathers own speeches and writings, like there is this quote that mentions fighting for liberty with eternal vigilance that comes to mind, i can't remember the whole quote, but it goes something like this as a paraphrase. life and liberty and the Pursuit of happiness are the foundations to a functioning society, but that reality must be fought for with eternal vigilance otherwise we will lose it, it also goes along with some other speeches Ezio has used in this franchise that also might have been inspired by the founding fathers in the Pursuit of freedom and maintaining that freedom. damn, i wish i could remember the quotes.

Shao Jun is the protagonist for Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China. The Chronicles games were 2D side-scrolling platformers, very different from the main games, hence why they don't get talked about a lot.

One of the greatest assassin of all time! R.I.P. Ezio Edit: Some people say that the man with the scar at the end is death itself.
@5226-p1e6 ай бұрын
yeah, some people say he had a templar emblem on him, but i have seen the clip many times and i have not seen that emblem so i just don't know for sure, but it's possible, it's just killing an old man who's practically on his death bed already seems a little pointless. but what i find odd is the loss of the pleasance of the brotherhood in this city at all, because back when he was in the brotherhood, he really built it to last and it spanned across many countries including his own cities, so i just don't know. it also didn't much make sense that he didn't have the brotherhood protecting him on his villa, for a figure like himself it would have made sense that he'd have that kind of protection and presence especially at his old age and a family to protect, but then again we don't know what these past 10 years of his life have been like, it's possible he did originally have more help or something like that but it looks like he became disgusted of the brotherhood for some unknown reason and maybe that might explain why he was living like this, that's just speculation on my part, but it appears something like that might have happened where some incident that caused his distain for that kind of pleasance at his villa. like i understand Ezio as a figure he's more of a lone wolf type, but at his old age, it would have made more sense that he would have been better protected, like a mafia does with their elder leaders or the mob boss has his protection, which historically were Italian lol, but that's more beside the point i'm attempting on making. it just feels out of character for him to distance himself from the protection of him and his family.

@@5226-p1e Special that was something Ezio didnt want...Protection from the Assassins would have made his home a bright Light pointing on one of the most valuable targets for every templar out there. also So far i remember Ezio didnt leave the Assasins on a good Point...it got pretty heated up once he decided to leave it for good. He was taking Distance from all of that to protect himself and his Family.
@5226-p1e6 ай бұрын
@@derfritz4550 i get that point of view, however you would think some of that protection would be undercover or perhaps members of the brotherhood possibly tried to protect him undercover so there was no open presence and maybe that's why he wanted to be left alone, idk, again just speculation on my part. because there really isn't much to extract and because we really don't know the history in-between the gap of history from the last decade of his life. correct me if i'm wrong but i think Ezio was in his 60s in Revelation's? and finally settled down with Sofía near his mid 60s, idk, i'm not sure but judging on his age of that game and the age he appears now it looks like he's at least in his mid to late 70s, also judging by his Childs age, she looks to be maybe age 9 or 10, it's hard to say to be honest. maybe there is some written lore that i don't know about out there that further expands on this idea as it would seem from this movie he's distanced himself from the influence of the brotherhood and appears to have some distain for it.

Judging by how freely chinese templars were in Firenze, I think assassins lost their control over the city for a long time ago. Templars just didnt (want to) notice Ezio, not until he stood in a way of their chinese colleagies. And that "random" scarred man was definetly a templar, cant be a coincedence. Did he killed him though? Cant say, but after that tree hugging session, Ezio's coughing became much much worse, so he was already dying. Again, "nothing is true", just my thoughts about that.
@5226-p1e6 ай бұрын
@@ltwatlas6948 i doubt they would have lost control, by the time Ezio left the brotherhood it was spread far and wide and they were pretty much an army at this point, it was basically an Empire of assassins, they had so much control spread across the known seas of the time i just highly doubt that. i suppose it's possible they might have been distracted by some other event going on in the city at the same time, but again going after an old man in that ending scene seems pointless as he was already on his deathbed, i think it was pretty much a fluke in how he was able to fight and not die during the assault on his villa. i know you think he died due to that guy being a templar or whatever, but i have seen this clip many times and i have not seen that emblem that people say they see, hell i have outright slowed down the video using youtubes built in slow video option and it's never seen in the clip. i think it was due to his stroke on that bench that was uncontrollable that ended up killing him, he has had a hard few days with her and he was already suffering some kind of sickness from his cough.

Shao Yun was actually supposed to be the next protagonist after Ezio. But Ubisoft, unveiling the delusion that now commands their every move, didn't think that a female protagonist would be well received. Not only were they terribly sexist in that decision but failed to understand (and fail to this day) that the only things their audience wanted were and are well written, captivating stories by people that are passionate about the craft of storytelling and game design, no matter what the sex of the protagonist is.

As his legacy still stay high and strong. May he never be forgotten and stay forever in our hearts to lives out there 😄 With that said, I hope you two check out “Desmond’s Journey” as it’s an additional side of discovery Desmond’s life story and how he accepted his role of becoming an assassin. Ezio’s legacy did not die as his bloodline continued. It went to Edward Kenway the pirate turned assassin, it next went to the turncoat Haytham, and into Conner who learn the assassin ways from scratch. Although it might have appeared in both Jacob and Evie Frye the twin assassins during the reign of queen Victoria. It ended up in Desmond. The other bloodline was of Kassandra, that blood went to legendary assassin Amunet aka Aya of Siwa, and Evior. I’m not sure where shadows line is going as Japan was isolated until the Dutch opened ports in Yokohama. And the Americans literally busted down the political door in the 1800s and showed the Japanese exactly why we were the best. We showed them trains, telegraphs, and modern firearms. The Japanese were absolutely stunned and didn’t know what to make of it. Only five years later did they make the trans-pacific voyage after we first contacted Japan. I believe voices of the past has a good narration on the first Japanese voyage to the US from the diary of one of the innovators of Japan who tried to change the political landscape of the country by changing to the three house system and not of the emperor. He somewhat succeeded as he formed the foundation of the Diet (their upper and lower house) but failed as he couldn’t really understand gender equality just yet although he wrote about it being possible in the future.
I just love Ezios story. I dont know of any other game character that you follow from birth to death of old age pretty much.
