The truth is that AC is a milking franchise designed to make as much money as possible with as little effort and resources spent as possible; they don't improve the AI because they don't have to, it's selling anyways.

I still think Unity probably had the best combat as it was actually challenging if you were facing more than one enemy. I got so tired of just hitting the counter button over and over, or in Brotherhood+ when you'd just hit it once and move the analog stick around to kill everything in sight. Origins combat is okay, but it feels very clunky to me. Hoping it's smoothed out a little for Oddysey

I was hanging on the edge of a building and some guard somehow managed to spot me (dont know if it was a glitch or if he was supposed to) and in his attempt to capture me he walked straight off the edge and fell to his death. You're right, AC origins changed the way I look at this franchise. It has changed completely. The game became much more difficult than before, the buildings look really good in my opinion, very good gameplay, especially combat and the most important of all, the variety of weapons that you can find and upgrade

One time when I was playing AC Syndicate, I was playing as Eve chasing Templars on horse carriages to capture the subject. The Templars whole horse carriage crashed inside a freakin bar restaurant. It was the craziest thing I ever seen in a AC videogame. The whole horse carriage wasn't suppose to fit inside the bar, but it did for some apparent reason.

In ac 3 if guards are chasing you here is a easy way to lose them. 1: Turn at a corner and stand by some peps. 2: Climb a building jump in a haystack. 3: Throw a gas bomb and hide in a crowd. 4: Take out a weapon and spam L click. 5: Run behind a tree next to a bush.

They improved the game so much with the second game though, but I saw the warning lights flash as soon as Brotherhood was announced to be released just a year after ACII. The quality has declined steadily ever since. ACIV was a brief improvement, but it was extremely short lived.

You can kill a guy, right next to a guard, walk around a corner, and theu act as if you vanished into thin air, and that you're a totally different person. And the graphics are sub-par due to Ubisoft basically shitting out these games every year. And yet, they get appraisal? "We uh...enhanced the mechanics...and uh...the AI....And uh...remodeled...the uh...structures..." It's said in every interview, I'm amazed they even get the chance to make another shit game this upcoming year.
