holy shit thank you!!!! this trophy has been driving me nuts. for me it was Angry Caldera of Arges, i never would have thought of there were it not for this comment. tip for people - the uncovered sections in the volcanic islands blend in very well with the already discovered areas due to its' rocky terrain. look very closely in on the map and you can just about tell which areas are hidden there

If anyone is a late bloomer and playing this game right now wanting to pull their hair out from not being able to find the one tiny spot they’re missing - mine was Marathon Beach in Northeast Attika. I looked all over that map and all over the internet for hours and no one mentioned this, but for me it blended in so well that I had no idea. When I saw it I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me because of lack of sleep from trying to get this freaking trophy but when I went there the trophy popped immediately.

Don't know if this will help any body but I was having the same problem. I scoured the map for hours steeped on every little island twice ran around like a lunatic. I found my haven at the northern most part of lakonia. Very easy to miss it actually looks like part of the mountain range until 100% zoom. Hope this helps. BTW thanks for all your work and effort you put in these vids man much appreciated

I kinda messed my plat up. I finished the game without completing trust me I'm a doctor trophy. I can't reload a save as my 1st manual save was 1hr 20 mins and my 2nd was 82hrs 34 mins.so its impossible for me to complete it DON'T FORGET TO MANUALLY SAVE GUYS lol

It's also important to note that all fog on the sea itself must be cleared to be able to get this achievement.

BTW guys you don't need to go to any question marks or do any quests. Basically to get this trophy, you need to travel to or walk in any grey/blanked out areas of your map. Essentially filling it in. Took me an hour to do by fast travelling to docks and viewpoints. Melos and Two King Valley are easy areas to miss.

Some good note: its not enough to explore the "subregions" of lands. you need to clear out the seas too. (Got mine that way.)

YES...It was Typhon's Revenge, which I think is BS really because I did the quest chain there where you fight on the Island, so it was all revealed, but there was a bit of grey shadowing on it....honestly if the name is revealed and the Dock Marker is Bright White it should count as being revealed.

It was “West Taygetos Foothills” for me. Found on the west side of the lakonia mountain. It blends in perfectly with the mountain slope and has no story or side missions there making such a big area easy to miss

I've been working at this trophy for days. Did everything in the video along with all the easy to miss spots mentioned in the comments and was still stuck at 99.53%. Turns out I did not explore Apollo's Refuge on Keos. Such a large chunk of land that actually blended in on the map so I kept overlooking it. Finally got Platinum!

Finally got the trophy after 8 hours of map exploring , i was about just 30 minutes to surrender but i did two things in order to continue : 1 - writing down all the places thats in this comment on a peace of paper . 2- i took my time to zoom each area that i wrote down and guess what ive already explored the areas thats mentioned on the comment . And finally it took me around 3 extra hours to zoom in region after region while listening to lady gaga and leann rimes in order to be in a good mood while doing the magnifiying . At the end guys i ended up missing a huge part of samos island , i thought at the beginning that i explored everything even samos island in the zoom out looks like unfoged but when i zoomed i found that samos island consist of three parts instead of two so the third part that i didnt explore is in the middle of samos island where my achievement just popped in . So yes samos island is so tricky to the eyes because your eyes sees the island as 2 parts instead of 3 , and in the zoom out scale it looks like unfoged as if a magician want to confuse you . Thats all and im so happy that i only got one achievement for the 100 percent on steam .

I did what the video said plus the tips that people have given, and it was driving me crazy on how the trophy didn't appear until I notice something on my map in Typhon's Revenge up north of Melos Island. The edges were still grayed out even though the center was defoged. I went back and started running around the edge of the island, and sure enough the trophy popped. For the people who are having the same issue like me, make sure to check all the small island's/volcanic one's and see if you have the edges grayed out. If you do then do what I did, and I hope this helps.

They should have kept the “map reveal by eagle” feature they had in Origins. You’re bird never actually revealed what was at each ? but it did unlock new territory and regions. Would save people a ton of time and headaches the way they have it now in Odyssey.

South West on the Map are Zones with big Hills (Messenia). The dark/Shadow Side of the Hills ARE ZONES. 3 Hills and got the Trophie. Dont open the Ubisoft Stats Menue. It says 99,06% and i got the Trophy. Hide all Symbols, Zoom slowly Zone by Zone. Just check the Map in the white Lines. If a Zone with white Line discovered, move to the next. Dont forget to zoom in, because you see the Lines only in Zoom. You dont need to discover small Isles when their next to a Zone and got a white line all over it. It meens, its part of the big zone and allready discovered. Just watch for dark/undiscovered Maps And dont forget the small solo isles.

For me it was Typhon’s Revenge east of Lakonia. I had a little fog around the edges of two of the islands. Initially from a zoomed out view it looked clear but zooming in showed the grey. That is what you are looking to clear.

You still have to swim around the islands. Uncover all the painting/shading in the corners. I uncovered all the sub regions, but took ship around bottom of messara and Phephkas and uncovered trophy. Hope this helped!

For me it was The Valley of the two Kings bordering the east side of The pass of the Warriors in Lakonia! Easy to miss noticed it after the 5th time And for all others in case you wondering no you dont have to step on each little island, its enough if they are defoged. If you are stuck at 99. ish dont waste your time by stepping on them, you just missed a very camouflaged area somewhere on the map, probably in the middle of an landmass

For me it was the north-east area around "Angry caldera of arges", for some dumb reason you have to run around the whole island. It shows a darker colour, where you havent been.

I had been to island before and even fought the boss there but your right from some reason the dark grey part was still showing on the island around the edges of it. Most people are having trouble with the continent that has Sparta on it. There is a lot of mountain areas towards the left that can be easily missed.

Got it was missing 2 n lakonia near pass of the warriors lil to right and one n megaris lil up kithairon foothills dang thought it was glitch was not . Look real good zoom in on every lil spot look for grey like I did .

Ok listen to this carefully, there are four islands in Melos ,one is the big that has Synchronize Location, Second above the first one where you fight Roxana on a side mission ,Two Islands left ,one on the left which is fogged and THE ONE ON THE RIGHT LOOKS CLEAN BUT ACTUALLY ITS FOGGED!!! it was that spot where I got the trophy 🏆.

Guys, this was the last trophy I needed for the Platinum and I went to all the spots everyone mentions with no luck. After 106 hours of gameplay I noticed a dark spot named "Phaleron Sandy Bay" in Southern Attika, hope it helps. BTW, this was my 16th platinum.

For me the last spot to "discover" was in the obsidian islands, where you have to either fight the cultist of your friend...after I defeated the cultist I imediatelly left, not "exploring" that small island, even because there was nothing there. Anyway achievement unlocked after 5 minutes checking the map in details

LO LOGRÉ!! Después de revisar mil veces el mapa, leer en blogs y recorrer las supuestas zonas por descubrir... Se me dio por revisar la "Isla Kradia" que esta al Norte de "SAMOS"(La misma ya me figuraba como descubierta). Recogí el material de Oricalco que hay en medio de la isla y me dio el trofeo. Aclaro que estaba con el 99,53% de porcentaje de regiones y no había completado todas las zonas con "?", ni las Atalayas. Las ubicaciones submarinas si las había completado. Prueben con eso. A lo mejor tienen la misma suerte que yo. Suerte!! gente

for anyone scouring the comments and the map for their final locations i found mine in West Argolis: Wetlands of the hydra, it kinda blends in with the surrounding area and can be hard to see .
