PLEASE! More of this. You're really only like half of the way through the tutorial! You haven't got your boat, you've not started unraveling the cult, haven't upgraded leonidas' spear, haven't hunted your first legendary animal, haven't fought in the arena, haven't met your father... There's so much you haven't even touched on and it is so much fun. Maybe we don't need a "completes" series, but you could easily get 3-5 more 1 hour vids out of this without it getting repetitive. Especially if you focus a little more on your personal expertise. I loved your question about the area being ruined, and wanted follow up. I wanted to hear what you think about the arms and armour, the ships we saw and the buildings. The portrayal of every day life. I think that if you combine snippets with that, with the game feeding you new stuff every 15 minutes for the first 15 hours of gameplay, you would have an amazing series.

I absolutely loved this game. Easily one of the best in the series. True it’s definitely not 100% accurate, but I feel a lot of the discrepancies have merit because otherwise this would be a very boring game. Later on you fight in these large battles that aren’t historical at all. But to be honest, fighting in a real phalanx would be pretty boring gameplay wise. Especially in this game where the MC is designed to be almost a demigod with their first-civ abilities.

The whole ancient aliens premise/background is what turned me off from the entire series. But with AC: Odyssey being set in ancient Greece (which I love) it was just too interesting to pass up, and besides, and correct me if I'm wrong, that lore is less obvious that in previous games as far as I can tell. I'm following the story at Delphi at the moment so I don't know if it becomes more apparent later on in the game.
@ZoeBateman4 жыл бұрын
@@dasmysteryman12 unfortunately it does become more obvious a little later in the game, but the main game stuff is so good I think it's worth it, you can get through them in only less than 5 or 10 minutes too depending on how much you want to read so it's not that bad

@@dasmysteryman12 It creeps in later on but imo doesn't take away from the rest of the game. That mission you had no idea what you did... uh, you sorta let the plague out. 😕😬 I’m sure it’ll be completely fine, though and certainly won’t effect anything else later on... Btw, don’t worry about what armour or weapons look cooler as they added a fantastic system that lets you change the appearance of your gear to what you want. As long as you’ve looted it, the appearance unlocks and you can customise the look so you still get awesome stats & a design you like. When you’re in the inventory screen, the option is there. They also added in a patch different gear set ups (not sure if you’ve unlocked that yet) but you can have 5 I think. I have equipment geared towards warrior play style, then assassin, hunter, poison and fire. So you can switch on the fly (even during combat) from stealthy stabby gear to fighty smashy gear if you mess up an assassination attempt. This game is a lot of fun, think you’re really gonna enjoy it.

The actual quest was to decide what mattered most: that the family, who carried a disease, lives or that they die, in accordance to the wish of the armed priest. Jon has, accidentally, accidentally chosen the former. [SPOILER FROM HEREON] Halfway through the game, if you travel back to your starting island of Kefallonia, you will find that a giant epidemic has the entire island in its grip.
