Aya is descended from Elpidios, and through him Kassandra, Natakas, Darius, and Leonidas. However, this doesn't mean that the bloodline ended with Khemu's death, unless every member of the family between Aya and Elpidios refused to have more than one child, which we know isn't the case because of her cousin Phanos. So it's likely the bloodline of Leonidas continues in other branches between in those 300 years between Odyssey and Origins.

He lived way up to the 20th century but never came out to help Bayek and Aya fight off the order? Okay they already answered this in AC2, it’s not a bloodline that converges. The bloodline of the assassins with the Eagle Sense is not a triangle, think about it that makes less sense. Then everyone’s Eagle Sense would be weaker in the modern age. Also no one else but Desmond had it. It’s an upside down triangle. There’s multiple bloodlines that converged into Desmond. Meaning more than the Eagle Bearer; there were other bloodlines simultaneously. This isn’t a plot hole… they know what they’re doing you just have to pay attention.

The „leap of faith“ was a ceremonial thing for Medjay, as explained by Bayek, and has been performed by generations before him. Don‘t think about it too much, it‘s not like that move is biologically or physically plausible. It‘s complete nonsense, but it‘s a staple of the series, it HAS to be in.

I see a lot of why wasn’t Aya the main character although I agree I think Bayek was a wonderful main character he was easy to relate to and Origins has been my Favorite AC game for a while and I have played all ac except for odyssey and valhalla. With that being said I also like Aya and I believe she would have also been a wonderful main character considering it matches up with the lore more. What I don’t get is that AC Syndicate you could play as both genders the full game and it skips over origins then makes another game with siblings that you can play the full game through (Odyssey). Why skip origins when both Aya and bayeks perspectives match it would have made sense to play through either or. And then this dlc cutscene would have made it clear that Aya was the Cannon character just like in the Valhalla Odyseey crossover making it known that kassandra was the cannon character.

But after I finished the game I can say that I have come to love it. I am still planning to purchase assassin's Creed Odyssey and assassin's Creed Valhalla. Preferably the most extensive physical version. But what I know of the three games remains assassin's Creed Origins my preference so far. Assassin's Creed Odyssey has an open world way too big. And assassin's Creed Valhalla actually more or less the same if not even bigger.. Mainly in the sense that there may be too many gameplay hours in it.

I like Odyssey but I don't like what they did for it as a whole tbh

And thereby disregarding the brand value as well as the in-game principles and ideas behind being an Assassin brotherhood (established by other games). As an example, the backstory of leap of faith and it's significance was established were well by the interactions between Bayek and Khemu... But in Odyssey, any idiot can perform a leap of faith... An insignificant mercenary (Alexios/Kassandra), a wierd bearded old man (Darius), their children, grandchildren, even Aya... WTF is the logic behind that? Bayek said it's his family's legacy, to perform leap, as Medjays. How come Aya's family legacy too be the same? And also Darius'es? Thats some bull$hit and shameless lamea$$ writing. Because, leaps are unique abilities, only the hidden ones, later know as Assassins can perform. And if there are these many roots, Darius, Alexios-Kassandra and Bayek... That "Assassin exclusive ability" makes no sense. Its literally impossible, for both the stories to be canon. And that is one of the kind of problems, why Odyssey is hated by older fans.

@@venomsn4kee If you have significant First Civ (Isu) DNA then you can involuntarily activate Pieces of Eden like the Apple when you touch them. Desmond only had 1% First Civ DNA and even then his very presence would make the Apple light up. In Origins we see Aya and her son Khemu touch the Apple multiple times and yet nothing happens. By making Kassandra (who is like half Isu) Aya's descendant it completely messes with the plot of Origins because the game starts with the Order trying to get into the Vault and if Khemu was holding the Apple it should have activated.

@@unc54 Yes you CAN activate POEs. Doesn‘t mean it HAS to happen? The reason Desmond involuntarily activated the apple in Brotherhood is because Minerva made him. Was not his decision and not by chance, Minerva made the apple activate so she could get Desmond to kill Lucy. Also people without Isu DNA can still activate and use certain POEs, as shown in AC1,2,4… etc.

Who cares who your character hooks up with? Sometimes my character in Odyssey makes choices i wouldn't either because it's not a full on RPG game. It's like Red Dead redemption or GTA 4 where you have choices but still being led through a pretty linear narrative. The player character a child was part of the story they were telling.

Darius took Elpidios(the child) to Egypt, where afterwards they show a timelapse of Elpidios getting older, then they show his son, then that man's son, and so on, until we reach Aya. This reveals that Aya is a descendant of Alexios(canonically Kassandra).

Odyssey is just wrong. I feel dirty even looking at it. And this scene is one of the most ridiculous and laughable. Ubisoft always tried to respect the history and depict historic periods and locations faithfully. So how the f**k did they greenlight this montage? Odyssey takes place around 400 BCE. The pyramids were built around 2500 BCE so they were already 2000 years old at the time. So why does the game imply that the pyramids were built AFTER Odyssey? Come tf on. Previous games took some liberties and for example showed buildings that weren't built in real life until a few years later but 2000 years??? It's as if Kassandra's descendants witnessed the construction of the Eiffel tower. Think about that for a second. This is the level of absurdity here.

@@betawatcher6984 The accent was accurate, as the voice actor and voice actress that play Alexios and Kassandra are legit Greeks, therefore speak actual Greek, and based the accent of a legit Greek accent.

It's just greek pronunciation of English words . It's sounds cheesy and maybe sometimes voice actors aren't good . But overall thats the main reason for this accent in the whole game

I have so fun with odyssey I put 1900 hours...old assassin games there are boring all the same gameplay....this is epic game for the Last 15 years played very very good....

Huh?.....ur are probably a newbie to this ASSASSIN'S creed and most probably a small kid...... ASSASSIN'S creed is about linear story narrative driven game, the fact that u called old ASSASSIN'S creed instalments boring is just because u are not mature enough to understand the story and essense of the game and hence u are immature

bro, i love Odyssey, but come on, Revelations, 3, Black Flag, Rogue? besides, which ending are we talking about exactly, coz with DLCs, Odyssey had 5 different arcs altogether, so you have 5 different endings + the modern day ending xD

After taking a few months to 100% odyssey and put over 150 hours into it, it's a terrible assassin's Creed game, as an rpg it's ok and there are fun aspects but overall it's dogshit I have no desire to ever play it again

The thing Is, odyssey is just unnecessary as an Assassin's Creed game. They had already shown us the birth of the assassins with origins so I have no idea why they decided to make a game set before origins
