I went through SO MUCH hassle to get this romance right... I got so invested, honestly, which seemed to be the point of the extensive quests and dialogue - and the dialogue refers to seeing each other again later several times... and then you never see him again :( so disappointed Ubisoft released lots of romance DLC and none of them have Thaletas in them.

Accidentally killed off Podarkes(?) too soon so I came here to get my fill of this romance...damn, that ending stings even if it's arguably the best you can get.

A lot of "romances" in this game made me laugh, but Thaletas' and Kyra's made me cringe. To get a "happy ending" for kassandra and Thaletas, the player has to be a horrible person. Spoilers. 1. Kill the prisoner you freed 2. Flirt aggressively with a guy who is in a relationship. 3. Verbally push the competition(kyra) to commit suicide. 4. Lie to thaletas about Kyra's death. All is fair in love and war I guess? I followed a guide to achieve this "happy ending" and I regretted it so much I had to reload and redo the whole thing. I like both of the characters, since I cant have them on my ship I would just not romance them and let them have each other and be happy.

I did the same thing. I'm not about to sink hours of gameplay into a sidequest just to get a dumpster fire ending... even some of the guides aren't entirely correct, this storyline is such a clusterfuck (the internet claims if you side with Kyra in the argument, you can never romance Thaletas ever again... that is false) and after all that work I put in to sort of give my character's story an arc of belonging and "home" (yes, I'm overinvested in Kassandra, obviously) you just never see him again. Even with the best ending, you never see him again. I feel like it would have been such little effort (compared to the scale oft he game) on Ubisoft's part, to incorporate running into Kyra/Thaletas (whoever you romanced) another few times if you pick the right pathways.

I did the same. First I let Kyra commit suicide, but when the whole story ends I felt like a shit even if its just a game. I was shocked after all what they said to each other, it shouldn't end like this. I choose him for forever and then, when he asks me about sail to Sparta with him, she was like "us?thaletas..." like no way, this was just one night thing. I was so dissapointed. I reaload the whole thing and let them be together, alive and happy. Next time playing this game I left this romance rather dead.

I played with Alexios, romanced Kyra, Thaletas found out and I had to end up killing him, then Kyra ends up hating me and kicks me off the island. I also got the result when Daphne banishes me crying and saying that if she sees me again she'll kill me. Deimos also kills my mother. I ended up fucking Roxana, Odessa, and the Spartan woman though. Still, my Alexios lived a sad life

After you talk to them on the cliff/beach, Kyra and Thaletas go to the party. They're in the crowd, you have to find and talk to them again BEFORE you talk to Barnabas in order to get that scene.

It's not an ending. The whole thing with Thaletas and Kyra in Mykonos is a side quest.

@@JunebugKnight it's actually not the only way this "romance" could end, but it's one of the happier ones. I'm not gonna spoil the thing but depending on letting a certain prisoner live or die could change the outcome quite much. But-.. both of these characters as romancables will leave you, there is no happy ending for Alexios/Cassandra in this.

you have to get to a certain point in the game and then you fight him then you have the choice whether or not you want to have a romance with him.
