Come on Ubisoft, you did so well this year, first Far Cry 5 (excluding DLC), then the Crew 2, which was better than it's predecessor, Now AC: Odyssey, Transference was good too, and Starlink coming up - why you have to ruin it with shady MTX.

I'm not sure if you should completely discount the cave of kratos because there are bandits inside of it with white paint all over their bodies with red marks on their face. These same types of bandits are found all over the world but it seemed like too much of a coincidence.

Kratos or cratos is a actual god of strength in mythology, there is a cave of numerous gods in game, there is a cave of ares as well, those white faced guys are also tied into antagonists of the story and are cannibals nothing to do with the AU version of kratos on playstation

yes i understand that, but the fact that they put bandits with white and red paint all over their bodies in the cave of kratos seems like too much of a coincidence. I'm not sayin it is or is not, jussayin i wouldn't discount the fact that it may have been on purpose even if the name of the cave isn't directly referring to the god of war games.

@@keithmustanggt not trying to fight but that's red paint is likely just blood, because you run into the guys in numerous other caves or outside, and quite a few of them are just plain white, it also isnt full body it's just there upper areas mostly

On the Island where the Statue of Poseidon stands you can kill some animals to get access to a chest which holds the Trident of Poseidon, which may seem like a plain trident in appearance outside of battle but during battle the prongs change from silver to blue, making it one of the more unique weapons you can get from as far as I've seen.

Prince Nightlife I actually hadn’t found that yet, I’m going to go look for that later, I take it it’s something fire related like the bow, not sure what unique graphics it would have to it though, some kind of aura?

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but I noticed that when you walk slowly through the wheat fields, your character passes his/her hand over it, similar to how Maximus did in The Gladiator movie.

Watch dogs is definitely in the Assassin's creed Universe. This guy named Oliver Garveau (Play AC rogue) who was one of the head of abstergo, got killed by Aiden Pierce, and it even said about ANIMUS and that Oliver was targeted by the brotherhood.

In a few years when everyone who listened to Jim Sterling about this game and buy it on sale they will realize that at least this onetime he's mislead people. Calling this game grindy and acting like you're being manipulated into buying microtransactions is objectively wrong and in bad taste. Anyone who's played this game longer than a few hrs would see this is one of the best products Ubisoft has ever made.

Not sure if it's an easter egg or just adds to the immersiveness of the game, but I like that you can rediscover the Obsidian eye from Cyclops that you put up the goats, ya'know... And if you kill a goat after those events and loot it's carcass back on Kefalonia you can get it back, I think you get an achievement for it :)

Not sure if it’s an Easter Egg or not but one of the Mercenaries is named Lydia the Dragon-Skinned. It seems like a nod to Skyrim based on her description and her loot is a nod to Ulfic Stormclock Her description reads as follows. “It’s said Lydia the Dragon-Skinned was stabbed, lit aflame, and shot repeatedly with arrows, but never failed to laugh it off. Like a proud parent, she carried her scars and would happily spend all night regaling anyone who would listen with the stories of how she got them” The loot she drops is “Ancient Kong’s Waistband” it’s description is “This bears the seal of a lone of royalty who ruled in another time.”

Weirdly nobody seems to mention how the game is heavily inspired by the movie Troy, the one with Brad Pitt as Achilles, his armor in this game shaped just like Pitt's armor in the movie. Also i found Paris's bow, Agamemnon set.. I don't know if this count as a reference, though.

Apparently if you get a bounty and are chased by a mercenary while on a boat, you can swim over, kill the captain and jump off, after a bit a NPC with no texture or skin will replace them, you can incapacitate them and recruit them. It's pretty funny to see. At least until they patch it out.

The splinter cell reference is interesting because it adds to the theories that Ubisoft games take place in the same universe, like how Fischer shows up in ghost recon wildlands and how the super cars in Wildlands are the same brand as the ones in Watchdogs

Love this game and I have the unicorn skin but my husband has the pegasus skin, you can't fly with it but Phobos will glide smoother when you jump off things. It's really cool and instead of a rainbow trail and sparkles it's a purple trail, but you can't get it at the blacksmith like the unicorn which spawns randomly there throughout the game, you have to get the credits to get it so spend some actual money but Its not much.

In the real world there are three rooms, the center where the animus is, the room where the Sam Fisher headset is and the there is another room on the other side of the center room that has a Rabbid doll on the shelf.
