One of the best Assassins? Really? Ezio only killed 1 of the 3 Grandmaster Templars he went up against. And im being kind cause the one he did kill could be argued that he wasnt even a Templar Grandmaster so that means Ezio diddnt kill any of the main Templar villains in his games.

Eagle vision is just a heightened sense of things, it's been in every AC game and obviously not every game has had a protagonist who controls birds. Eagle vision existed before Ikaros and Senu. It doesn't matter that Takhar had an owl, he still had 'Eagle vision'. But the guy saying he was the first in the bloodline is wrong, since Takhar wasn't the start of that bloodline. The bloodline stretches back to when we see Adam and Eve take the Apple from the Isu, it stretches back to the time of the Isu which was way before the time period of Primal.

AC Black Flag is probably one of my favorites, I haven’t actually played 2 or brotherhood. But if I had to choose a favorite assassin, it would be ezio or Edward kenway. They’re both really well made, have good voice actors, and develop well. They’re both pretty childish and sloppy in the beginning, but mature later on and I think that’s nice

Black flag is a good game mechanically, but storywise Edward Kenway is the worst assassin. Mainly because on the whole his story is very self destructive, stubborn to a fault, failed to heed his friends advice, failed ALL of his best friends, even Adewale, while at the same time having his friends saved his ass multiple times. He only ever learn after most of his friends die, wonder why. Ezio is still the best because his story arc is much better fleshed out. Altair has a good arc even with lesser screen time. Jacob Frye is a lovable idiot, almost as self destructive as Edward Kenway, but with more charm. Evie Frye is a good assassin though a bit uptight. And Connor... is the most misunderstood, a stoic character is just so very difficult to be portrayed in an interactive media, especially when facial animation can only be capable to be as flat as a cardboard. But on a whole Connor is actually a good character. It's logical for a Native American to be restrained in anger with all the foreigner around him fighting over his homeland. Also, his humor and wit is very dry.

Ricky Ng Well I think that that’s the whole point. He’s not supposed to be an actual assassin, he’s a pirate first and foremost who only partially adopts the code later on. Call it difference of opinions, but I think he was very good, just because it was different from previous and future games. But I do have a soft spot for pirates, so that’s probably why I disagree

I think people dug Ezio and Altair so much because their lives were more transformed by trying to figure out what the hell was going on in their world. It also makes sense why people wouldn't like Edward Kenway in this vein. He's got very singular motivations. A search for truth branches into far more paths than a search for vengeance, or wealth. A lot of people can't relate to folks like Connor and Ed, who've had their whole existence swallowed up by an obsession that they can't let go of. Actually, tons of people can probably relate to it, and that could also be why they hate to play that character hahaha. Not really making much of a point, just bullshitting.

I just finished Origins about a day or two ago, and I got to say it's honestly one off the *BEST* in the series. Bayek was very human, and even on the same level of Ezio for me. Story was well done and mature, a lot more subtlety than I was expecting. World was beautiful, and combat was awesome. Can't wait to play the DLC's for it!

Assassin's Creed is one of the BEST game series of ALL time imo. My personal top 3 favorites are AC4:Black Flag, AC Origins & AC Odyssey! Black Flag was Soo much fun because you literally got to become an Assassin Pirate in the age of Black Beard 😎 I think Odyssey is my favorite of ALL because it had a brilliant, well written story combined with truly exceptional gameplay that made exploring ancient Greece and it's surroundings such a pleasurable experience! I don't know why they messed with the movement from Odyssey to Valhalla SMH having that stamina bar for dodging and stuff was more of a pain in the ass than it did good. I'm excited to see where the series goes next. I'm not looking forward to a live service AC game but I would LOVE to see a well thought out co-op Assassin's Creed game because having a massive open world to conquer with friends sounds like a super fun time! Happy gaming ✌️

The big mechanical arm version of the Animus is also used in the Assassin's Creed spinoff novel "Heresy" by Christie Golden. I was pretty surprised to find it in there, as the book came out same year as the movie, kinda showing how this big scary version of the Animus has been a concept which Ubisoft and the series's creators has been fiddling around with for a while. :)

Edward Kenway (Alexios certainly has some potential to eclipse Edward) gave us Haytham Kenway and Ratonhnhaké:ton (Connor), but prior to him crossing paths with Duncan Walpole, who prior to Edward ending his life and assuming his identity was in the works to crossover to the Templars of the West Indies. Edward was a natural assassin and ascended in not time to the level of being a Master Assassin. Prior to their (Kenway & Walpole) paths crossing what did the excursions of Pirate Life look like for Edward, as his list of known associates is loaded with the all the greats from the Golden Age of Piracy from Bartholomew "Black Bart" Roberts to Edward "Blackbeard" Teach?

I think the Prince of Persia side quest in Odyssey is a hint that the next AC game will be in Persia. which will somehow connect to the OG prince of Persia game. Ubi is somehow making it's own universe because most of their IPs are connected to each other.

first you cant even call assassins creed odyssey assassin creed since your NOT an assassin AND there's NO creed for another 400+ YEARS second can we get another trilogy storyline like with Ezio you know since it worked out so well a third since the game creator's care so little about the modern day story why not just give us a modern day assassins creed TV preferably Netflix show suggestion: why don'ts we get a trilogy assassins creed in feudal Japan our main character could be a samurai turned ronin in a attempt to avenge his master he killed the man "responsible" for making him a ronin and he found by the brotherhood they tell the MC that the man that he killed was innocent and was working with the brotherhood and the MC go's on to help the brotherhood by taking the path of "VENGEANCE" or "REDEMPTION" for his lost honor

I didn't really enjoy assassins creed 3 overall but when you get to play as hatham kenway for the whole like first half or two thirds of the game I really enjoyed that. I would have loved to see some more of his storyline and I'm glad they included him in the end of black flag, sort of confirming what we already had figured out about the family ties and all. I think the kenway line would have to be some of my favorite assassins for sure, ezio was great and I loved his stories and brotherhood is still my favorite game but the kenway line is definitely my favorite.

I don’t understand how you can think Ezio is bland. Have you played Syndicate, 3 or 4? You compare him to the protagonists in those games and it’s not even close. You get to see him change and mature throughout the games and adapt to his lifestyle, and that’s something you really don’t get with any of the others.

The movie was awful, the games have not really evolved past the ezio trilogy and black flag(naval combat), and ubisoft is claiming that they are bringing these newer insallments into rpg territory which is just a laughable excuse for them to make the games even more drawn out and grindy so they can push their xp booster microtransactions. The ezio games had the best story imo, but assasins creed black flag was the first “OMG” and in the series for me. In it’s time the graphics the ocean it all mended so well together and to this day remains my favorite.

Huge fan of AC. Loved them all. But nowadays I think the 1st AC is a waste of time. But I guess they had to start somewhere. I have each title on PS3. And so far played Unity on PS4. To hear that it took them 6 million lines of code just to incorporate stealth. RESPECT! Gives me a whole new appreciation for it.... Nice vid
