Nonbisco The Reptilian What's so bad about them using some animations from the previous games. The parkour system in the last two was really good, buggy with Unity though but I doubt I even needed to say that. Taking some of the good things and putting them in the game gives them opportunity to focus more on the new stuff. The main thing I hear people complaining about is the movement. It looks similar but the free running has some slightly different animations, I can tell. But seriously, it's like you guys are trying to find fault in this game.

Lol all these arguments in the comment section regarding the original colour of the Egyptians; the Egyptians themselves believed to have originated/migrated from the Land of Punt (which is now Puntland in the Horn of Africa) and it is common knowledge that the Ancient Egyptians were NOT Arab or West African-looking Blacks. Instead, they share many similar genetics, skin colour and cultural traits to the various ethnic groups that are found in the Horn of Africa (the Ethiopians, Eritreans, Somalis, etc). Many Ancient Egyptians were also Nubians.

The "upgrade ur hidden blade" thing to instant kill put me a little off. How does one not die from a blade through his throat? They should rather have added a upgradeable success rate like 50% -> 60% all the way to 100% and jsut create a failed hidden blade attack animation? (Other than that I'm pretty hyped ^^)

I like innovation. But I felt Unity and Syndicate were innovation in the right direction as far as combat and traversing the world. It just got overlooked with the bugs of the game. To me this seems like 2 steps forward and about 6 games back lol. This is arcade style combat. Which is fine, but it's definitely not what I want in an AC game. I don't pre order games by principle but I think I'll hold off on this one until I can see some reviews and more gameplay.

The collective complaints have some issues organizing their actual thoughts, and don't generally speak all that well. However I think a lot of people want actual innovation in a way that makes sense, or actually feels new. Seeing a skinner box, and arbitrary crap like "can't stealth-stab a level 3 guy if you're level 2" is just going to be a step back. Meanwhile stuff that actually involves good stealth and assassinating is usually the last thing they enhance, or sometimes even detract... like, how Unity forgot to have hiding corpses.

i liked syndicate but the world was kinda boring , this egypt one is better just by looking at it , more color more interesting locations and it feels alive . as for combat in ac syndicate it was kinda cool it was kinda brutal in some animations but the way gurads just waited for you to finally finish them was just weird , i will rather have this more rpg fighting system than counter button again after all the games we had the combat had to change .( i think it will be kinda challenging like unity combat but probably smoother )

I respect your opinion. However, black flag is a fresh new entry in AC series. Not only the map is huge but it's full of activities and it's fun to explore the beautiful open world of carribean sea. Hell, you even have your own ship and crew , free to travel between countries, killing templars like never before, or just being a full pirate by destroying fleets and empires. It's arguable whether it's the best AC game in the series, but man this is the best pirate game out there

Kakorhan Hart what is your favorite game of the series? for me its gotta be either black flag or syndicate, which imo was highly underrated and honestly overlooked by lots of people for the simple fact that it's an AC game and everybody assumes they are all the same these days. also call me crazy but I actually really enjoyed AC 3. I know that one gets a lot of hate and is considered to be one of the worst ones in the series but I loved it. I loved how it made you think kenway was your main character only to find out he was actually your real main character's dad. idk I just thought it had a really interesting story and its prolly my favorite overall setting out of any of the games. I absolutely loved how some missions revolved around fighting alongside george washington during the american revolution. I mean dont get me wrong it definitely had some major flaws and the combat was too easy but I never understood the hate that game got.

I really like the look of this game and it looks to have a nice feel. The upgrade tree will be an interesting addition to the game and I will probabaly like it even if it turns out to be bad, Leveling up is a welcome addition in my book as the difficulty curve against higher level enemys will keep most players out of areas but could encourage stealth in those areas. bosses will be another interesting addition making you think over your gear and level before going to battle them. I really will probably enjoy this game no matter what people say.

i cannot wait for this game! first time i saw it, my initial reaction was - setting & story focus like AC1&2, world building like AC4, and all the gameplay that they have perfected over the while up until Syndicate....and then, of course, smoother fight scenes, with less time between moves, so it's more reactive, like witcher, dark souls and for honour, and it's finally more RPG! which is what i was expecting from AC1 back in the day, tbh. really keen on this :D not enough to preorder tho, ubisoft has a track record now.....

I think if they're able to integrate those rpg aspects while keeping that refined assassins creed feel then they've already brought a big innovation that I think all of us want. PS I think it's stupid how a lot of people who were complaining about them just doing the same thing with each new game and then complaining about these new elements are just stupid.

It's Privilege Far cry, Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed are in the same universe, that is why protagonists in Far Cry have Eagle Vision (because they have Precursor DNA), so Assassin's Creed has not ripped off Far Cry.

In my opinion, I really love how they changed assassin's Creed up and they are making it new and fresh. The problem I had with previous assassin's Creed games was i felt they didn't make you feel like an assassin. They didn't give me that sneaky or badass feeling that I kinda expect from an assassin's Creed game. They also didn't have enough depth and when I played them I just felt bored and unsatisfied. I plan on getting this game and I hope it's good because from what I'm seeing it looks amazing!

I AM looking forward to this game. It looks astonishing, I'm intrigued about what they'll be filling the world with and the new gameplay features. Yes, the combat does seem a little... shall we say 'jarred', but that may improve before release. Overall, I'm excited for this!

A lot of comparisons is going on with how this game is a lot like several others out there from different developers. Yeah sure, you can say it does have similar aspects with those, however, you've got to remember that it also has similar things with other games from Ubisoft as well. For instance the Eagle, yeah it's like the drone from Watch Dogs 2, but also the drone from Ghost Recon: Wild Lands. The combat, yeah it's similar to Witcher, Dark Souls, but also here's a big one. Ubisoft's own For Honor. Lock on, light and heavy attacks plus dodge and parry. People can say what they want about the game, or the series even. In the end, nothing will change the minds of those that are going to be getting this. I've been a fan of the series since the beginning. I enjoy each one for their own reasons, and I'm going to enjoy Origins for its own.
