Very good video but you forgot to mention that the animus 1.0 had some flaws with memories like limitations because Altair can swim but of how limited that animus was it made it look like he can't

Thank you so much for this! It is very well and professionally done and I like the voice of the moderator. I tried the first AC-games, but I didn't like the gameplay and I hated the modern-Animus-storyline around Abstergo. Then - over a decade later - I gave the AC-series a second chance and started Syndicate, cause I love Victorian London. I really liked the game, which by then reminded me more of the "Red Dead Redemption 2"-concept or GTA. The Abstergo-storyline was simply a framing plot or background story and the focus mainly stayed on the historical aspects. After 100 hours in Syndicate I started "Origins" and loved it, too, but now my problems with the story started to become serious. After finding the first messages in the vaults around Egypt, the modern plotline became very fragmented and didn't make any sense at all to me. That's when I began searching for any lore summary out there. So I'm really thankful for this project here.

Thank You so much devs!!! Played it both at E3 and Gamescom behind closed doors. I mean srsly guys... you guys have but everything into this one and it shows! The graphics at 4K, the gameplay, story, everything was PERFECT! And the world is INSANELY huge. Cannot wait to play this later this month 100% through and then... well.. you gotta head back to the high seas, 16-17th century, pirates and stuff.. nextgen graphics at 4K, great story as always and RPG system... WINNING! Origins will be GOTY, mark my words :D

You missed another Animus.The one which is used in the Book Heresy,Its a slightly older version that the one presented in the movie but it is a different version and is the first implementation of the Arm-type Animus.

It's the other way around, in the Heresy book that Animus is more recent, it's the Animus 4.35, while the one is Madrid is the Animus 4.3

Exactly man, every choice changes the course of action and you can make alternate Timelines with multiple endings.... The Animus would be creating a different future and outcome... those wouldnt be memories anymore...

Thanks for this. I've started playing assassins creed origins and haven't played any of the previous games so this helps me understand the animus sequences of the game. I'm wanting to get origins but was wondering if I should get some of the earlier games to understand the animus aspect better? I only really play for the history but the animus sequences are interesting too.

Dans AC1, c'est l'Animus 1.28, c'est écrit en haut à gauche. 0:51 4:36 Et c'est là que c'est devenu n'importe quoi. Un casque de réalité virtuelle, pour faire des jeux.... Vraiment? Et carrément une console de jeu dans Unity.... Vraiment? Et un bras dans le film.... Ok ça en fait j'ai rien contre ^^ Mais bon, depuis la mort de Desmond c'est devenu n'importe quoi. J'espère qu'ils vont corriger le tir avec Origins, même si mes espoirs sont très bas.

Exact mais pour simplifier un peu le tout on a préféré parler d'Animus 1.00 (en soit le 1.23 est le premier Animus mais avec seulement quelques améliorations techniques). Ensuite je suis d'accord sur le fait que le coup de la console était une assez mauvaise idée, mais en terme de métahistoire pour Origins les développeurs semblent très confiants... :)

Personnellement, je ne peux pas m'empêcher d'être sceptique. Ubi avait dit qu'on aimerait le présent de Syndicate, et au final, c'était juste 10 minutes de cinématiques (qu'on peut voir directement sur cette chaîne tiens). On verra bien ce qu'il vaudra, mais je ne me fais pas trop d'espoirs....
