Yasuke isn't the first 'Assassin' character who isn't a typical assassin. Bartholomeo and Mario from the Ezio games are memebers of the Brotherhood who are full on mercenaries, charging through the front gates with their possies while ezio does the sneaking. Yasuke is is just the first of these kinds of characters that we get to play as a fully specialised fighter (Eivor and Kassandra have optional stealth)

@@endless013the ones who attempt to find any flaw in Yasuke’s existence they can to scrutinise, just to hide the fact that they’re closeted racists. Those ones.. The ones who yelled “woke” as soon as they saw him, and changed their argument to “HiStoRicaL AcCuracy!” The moment they found out he existed.. We all know how it goes, and we all know exactly what’s going on.

@endless013 he was a samurai whose job was to be a weapons retainer for Lord Nobunaga. It is an elostruous position above most peasant class.

Controversy and insane pricing aside if I can choose to only play one character the whole way through I'm sold I'll Ninja out all day as long as they don't force you to be 100% stealth "because ninja", I have Mask of The Ninja for that game style already. Yusuke just doesn't sell me on this at all it's like some Exec said "Goats of Sushi Mom is gaining hype we need to put it in our new AC" and depending on how they do Parring in this game that mechanic would be hot garbage, it's the difference between AC Odyssey and AC Valhalla the difference between a 2 button parry and a 1 button parry makes all the difference in the world if he's as heavily on the Parry as they made it look he'll be needing a 1 button parry.

They still need to polish it, unfortunately with the Ninja you can't block or parry you dodge and hit like a souls game, Yasuke can only block and parry they split the 2 apart and gave Stealth, Parkour, and Assassinations to Naoe, and Multiple weapons, Heavy Combat, and Block/Parry to Yasuke which is is usually all in 1 character in assassian creed which makes them do the impossible, but I guess now they want to make it slightly more realistic
