Enemies in Origins did that; I was playing it recently, and the enemies in Origins felt more alive compared to the recent games. However, Valhalla does offer more variety, with many different enemies and skills, so there's that.

Agree with everything you said 👍 Basically, we want a game focused on quality, not quantity. For example, rather than having a 100+ collectibles cluttering the map, I'd rather see only 20, but carefully selected locations. They should be interesting places with a reason and proper loot, not a random chest with one trash loot in a random location. Lack of quality is the biggest concern I have about the game and a major reason why a lot of the AC fans got bored with the franchise. Hopefully Shadows changes this and get a great game. 🙂

​@@yousseftarek9015The issue is that Shadows was already in development before the idea of creating Mirage was even conceived, hence why the parkour looks more like Valhalla's parkour than Mirage. Although Mirage exceeded Ubisoft's expectations, and it is certain they will definitely incorporate elements from it in future game (Ubisoft Bordeaux, who made Mirage, is currently working on their next game), I don't think that they had time to incorporate elements from it into this one, or at least, it was already too late. Then again, until the game comes out, I cannot just assume things off the bat, so I will remain hopeful alongside you 🙂.

I agree with everything in this video now two things I do want is a Jin Sakai Ghost Armour for Naoe and Clan Sakai Samurai Armour for Yasuke. It just makes sense. Also we need some multiple mission character tales to flesh out and make us care for the side characters like they did with the side characters in Ghost of Tsushima.

NPC’s from AC Mirage were the best. In mirage npcs used to react when their purse was stolen and they called the nearby guards.

its sad most of mirage solutions probably wont be implemented since shadows was already in development when mirage got done but honestly the npc and notoriety interaction was spot on I belive its a way to make the wolrd feel alive and interactive, I feel like syndicate for example wouldve been amazing with a notoriety system since the police outside of sequences is useless. the parkour I belive they arent masking anything there will be very limited parkour but it will be a bit more flashy but mechanics will be the same I belive. This game has a bunch of potencial and I belive it will be a step in the right direction.

Assassin's creed games have better UI and World interaction than most of games, people comparing to ghost of tsushima are joke, that games has almost to zero activities in the world and the there are no npcs in the world, just in the camps or important spots while Assassin's creed games have immesne amount of npcs, activities, And the world is bustling, They make the world so rich

Everything in shadows looks good except the speed and stickyness of parkour, it’s fast but not fast enough, it’s sticky and I really wish the flips were manual but I doubt it, I think the story will be trash or mid so I don’t think too much of it, overall I’m excited

Thank you for bringing up the clipping issues. I already see some instances in shadows with yasukes sword. Eivors having an entire armor system dedicated to cloaks and they couldnt bother to attatch proper physics to it. Just another baffling decision in true AC tradition.

While all of the things listed in this video are valid. You seem to have forgotten that the majority of them were already rectified in Mirage. I understand that the comparison to Valhalla might be a better one to compare it to because of size and scope but I don't see them going backwards from what was already achieved in Mirage. I'm not guaranteeing everything will be perfect but I do think we will be impressed by the majority of the games features, and this is coming from someone who has platinumed every AC title except the first since it doesn't have trophies. Origins was good, while Odyssey had a beautiful world. However, Valhalla started to get boring after 10 hours. Seriously, one thing I hate the most is barred doors.

For me, the way to avoid bad looking cutscenes is to just remove them. We don’t need stiff, robotic characters standing there with dead eyes to get the story across. Just have them talk to each other but leave us in control of the character. The ai cutscenes don’t improve the cinematic quality to me, they just look bad. Invest time in the story cutscenes, and for the love of god, MOCAP THEM.

I dobrealky hope the side quest and mysteries exploration is actually really good and not like Valhalla. Clipping ad you said i noticed it with Naoe Katana not going in the sheathe, side quest animations do look better hopefully its more mocap, and damn i hope the npcs are interesting and not robotic and stiff. Basically everything with this game has to be the best product Ubisoft has ever made in their life especially since its the only Nex gen game they gave put out so far, like come on i expect some glitches for a game this size but i wanna see great polish and exploration etc like odyssey or syndicate level cutscenes.

the gameplay should not be way to long and the should give a one prespective story not multiple endings like valhalla cause it gets confusing in the story like valka quest i thought it was campaign but it was a side quest a fucking huge on at best the story should be simplified and the map should be unlockable due to the story you should go their cause of the campaign like ac 1 cant they just use ac unity pakour or engine to use the game cause it works best with a few patches and i hope main day storyline comes back it was fun and i hope the reader has something to do with this story maybe bringing back desmond lastly the combat should be fluid like ac 3 heck even ac syndicate had better combat than the trailers

I don't think I agree. I hope they make map markers a selectable option instead of removing it. I for one thoroughly enjoyed checking off all the map markers and I don't want to miss anything. um. actually the only Historyical documents we have on Yasuke point out that its very unlikely that he was Samurai. He only served for 15 months and Hideyoshi served 10 years before becoming a Samurai. Yasuke didn't have a last name. If Nobunaga made the only black man in Japan at the time a Samurai, we'd 100 percent have it documented like we do William Adams. If he was a Samurai, he'd of died protecting Nobunaga or commited seppuku with him. I think I can agree with the rest. how about a PC culture blackwash protagonist? since AC1 I have dreamed about AC coming to my country and doing a proper portrayal of our history and playing as a Japanese male protagonist. WTF?

I was born in Japan. I went to school in Japan and studied Japanese history for almost 10 years. I have watched a large amount of textbooks, novels, movies, dramas, and video games about the “Warring States Period” in Japan. Well, I mean, I am just a Japanese. It's unfortunate that AC fans don't really need to get this game either. Leaving aside the topic of Yasuke and the now compulsory integration of coloured characters, I think that AC has been going downhill for years. Well, personally I'm not a fan of the levelling system either and find it totally rubbish (except for learning skills), but what the previous speakers have said is also true. The stories are getting significantly weaker and at the same time it's not possible to build up connections to the characters (like with Ezio, for example). For me, AC was still at its best when it was Assassins versus Templars. Especially with Desmod Miles. Perhaps Ubisoft should concentrate less on the in-game store and an overly long story with as many outfits and collectibles as possible, and instead offer shorter games with good graphics and story, which may have several parts (as with Ezio). However, I would also like to point out that I would have absolutely no problem if there was a part with mainly coloured characters. Gladly in Africa during the colonial period as liberators or much earlier in terms of contemporary history. Africa as a continent has so much history and impressions to convey that this shouldn't be a problem. But I am now simply annoyed by this forced inclusion of everything and everyone. In my opinion, too much is being obstructed just to avoid offending or affecting 5% of the players. You can currently see from the game ‘Concord’ that the vast majority are fed up with it. Now this game is even being deleted. As a result, this game will only be bought for €20 on sale in two years at the most. It's a shame, as AC Japan has been a fan favourite for years.

1. Animations. Especially in cut scenes just about all of the NPC's look like puppets with repetitive and exaggerated movements. Also all horses since the first AC have the same animation, actually all 4 legged animals. Notice how the camels in Origin and Mirage move like horses, they just look wrong. 2. Poor voice acting. Most NPC's have terrible accents. Most of them end up sounding like the American imagination of a foreign accent, with emphasis on dragging the L's and rolling all the R's. This is evident in all Ubisoft games BTW. The only exception was Watchdogs Legion where the British accent and vocabulary was painfully stereotyped to the point of cultural appropriation. Also rather remove children completely rather than having 1 or 2 women do falsetto voices. And stop giving roles to the American child that doesn't even bother (The Fish kid in Valhalla, and also saw him somewhere in Mirage). 3. It is time for a new game engine. The AC games used to come out in batches where the style was kinda similar due to the engine being used. (AC on its own, then the Ezio games, then AC 3 and Black Flag, then Syndicate and that French one followed by Origin and every one after that, including Shadows from what I've seen so far). Origin looked great at the time it came out but every game since then looks quite similar, I actually think the NPC's seem a bit ugly, especially the faces. I think the Anvil engine's age is starting to show a bit with multiple rendoring issues, tearing and clipping happening frequently.

“Historical Authenticity” has never existed in Assassins Creed . It’s a sci fi action parkour game that uses magic apples, evil George Washington’s, giant serpants, fictional ancient civilizations, and jumping from 100 feet in the air to land in a haystack to advance the story. I do appreciate Mirage 100X more than BootyHalla though because of how authentic the city of Baghdad was. In that sense, yes, but assassins creed is a fictional video game about essentially time travel and we need to stop focusing on “historical accuracy.”

The idea of Assassin‘s Creed is to make something that looks like a page from a history book and ad magic and monsters and sci-fi elements. Yasuke looks like he’s there just to check boxes. even if he was a samurai, it would’ve been better to have him as an NPC because even if he wasn’t there just to fill boxes, he looks like he’s just there to fill boxes. And that makes him look out of place as a main protagonist.
