I finally watched the Borderlands movie. You know how sometimes you’re watching a movie at home, and you get distracted by your phone or dog or kids or whatever and miss like 5-10 minutes so you rewind it? I never felt the need to rewind Borderlands because no matter how distracted I got I knew I wasn’t missing anything.

I’d rather see it get sold and taken over by entirely new management. For better or worse Ubisoft is one of the biggest publishers in the business and owns a lot of iconic games, if they just go under and all their properties get sold at a bankruptcy auction or whatever a lot of those games and properties could get buried under rights issues and never see any kind of official release again. Or worse, it could be like when Warner Bros bought Midway and shelved every property they owned that wasn’t Mortal Kombat. I could definitely see a company like that buying Ubisoft’s IP then just cranking out nothing but Assassin’s Creed games forever while the rest of their properties gather dust.

Modern Bethesda won't remake Oblivion properly imo, it will have its RPG mechanics scaled down with a Skyrim or the even more stripped back Fallout 4 leveling system because that's what Bethesda thinks we want (more Skyrim).
