As a long-time fan of old Ubisoft and especially what Assassin's Creed used to be... man, it just keeps getting more and more painful seeing this insanity continue. That trailer was the final straw for me. I'm glad I never got into any of the RPG AC games... and, while I hate modern Ubisoft more so now than ever before, I also, without a doubt, despise all the filthy casuals and whales that helped ruin the franchise. They voted with their wallet... and made something as bad as Valhalla make so much fricking money. Starting with AC Origins... I knew from that E3 preview that it was going to be one heck of a downward spiral and slippery slope for the franchise going forward... and look where we are now! I hope that the rest of the gaming community that, as of right now, hopefully know better... stop supporting current-day Ubisoft.

AC always has that work of fiction, gender, religion etc at the beginning of every game. But they are literally promoting this game as both characters are historically factual, which is absolutely absurd if you understand Japanese history. Yasuke is a fable, there are no true documents of him ever being a Samurai. Research it... It's just disrespectful to Japanese culture and the actual true narrative of the time. It's just more DEI \ PC nonsense being shoved down our throat.

I hate woke shit as much as anyone, but tell me this. Ninja Theory had Yasuke in Nioh as boss fight, as warrior or samurai. They made him into something he apparently wasn't. Nobody was heard crying about this. Ubi makes him one of the protagonists and "nah, we can't have that." I don't see the big deal, and he seems cool in the trailer.
