i usually loved the assasins creed remade games played black flag the first 2, odyssey, vikings, we wuz pyramidz n shieet one and currently playing syndicate which i got for free on epic games and currently loving it but i will not be buying the newest one. My total played hours on vikings was 272 hours and still was not finished paris. They lost me as a custumer i am also trying to finish far cry 6 but man is the story garbage but the gameplay still pretty dope.

Not only did I get my name on a bunch of rocks that stayed there for years, including the driving one that I was most proud of because I absolutely suck at driving in games, but I was also the number one cougar hunter in the world in ACIII. Far Cry 3 & 4 were completely awesome, 4 being one of my favorite FPS games of all time. Even Primal had it's merits. AC was legendary when I was a teenager as well, with countless friends proclaiming it's quality. To see a studio who brought such happiness and who put so many smiles on gamers' faces go from that, to their current shell of a state? It's like seeing your old friend that you haven't seen in a while. You guys used to be very close, but over the years, you've drifted apart. He has become progressively more shady, starting to lie, cheat, become rude, not as much fun to talk to. You notice you don't see eye to eye on many things anymore. Over the span of a few years, you notice how he has changed. Then, after some time away, he aggressively shows up at your door asking to borrow some money. His demeanor no longer one of innocence and sincerity. Against your better judgment, you agree. If anything, for old times' sake. As you go inside to get the money, you hear a noise. You come back out to find him missing, along with your brother in law's motorcycle. The experience, a reminder of how things used to be, and how they no longer are. The past all the brighter, and the present all the more bitter. Ubisoft is at a state that is no longer acceptable for what us gamers see as a standard of minimal quality and respect for the craft, as well as the consumer. Sometimes, we must delete our old friend's number, and move forward. We can learn from the experience, but now carry a justifiable scar on our hearts where trust used to reside. Ubisoft is dead. But, there is always room for a better friend.

After they put out the first assassin creed game they became formulaic. At best they've mostly been a mid tier triple A games studio / publisher. Before the first AC game they had a much more varied games library and took more risks. In short they fell off within the 360 / Ps3 era and never recovered.

I think ubisoft could make a come back...but its like saying xbox could make a come back, its theoretically possible but it won't happen primarily due to the egos of the people running the company. Like japanese assassins creed is one of the most requested games of all time, if they made the main character white they could effective dodge most of the critism and reverse it with an actual apology to the Japanese and fans and have one likely massive success which would give then a chance to course correct...but they won't
