Same here, crouch should be an option with boxes etc. cover items to get behind while standing. Up against a wall on corners with a simple peek mechanic ike the old Rainbow six and Splinter cell games. It baffles me that with the amount of stealth missions, they could've made a Splinter Cell styled Star Wars game where you play as a Bothan Spy if they are too afraid to let you play as a Clone or Stormtrooper. It would also be a great way to showcase the strength of the Bothan species and explain where they were during the events of Return of the Jedi. Also the protagonist having an animal companion is the most Disney Channel thing I've seen that it comes across as cheesy.

I have no clue why Ubi was so eager to release the game so shortly after the Acolyte while it still needed some polish. If they just took their time to iron out the worst bugs and to enhance some of the gameplay elements it could have been a nice game still. I don't see a trash game here, but a trash game state at release. Maybe it's fine in six months or so.

guys remember that according to canon the stormtrooper armor is meant to be highly resistant to physical damage like blunt weapons and such as well as weaker blasters but this bitch can one shot them. Also droids are literally tools/objects designed to do the work that humans or other people don't want to. Imagine giving the right to vote to your cordless power drill like bruh what theee actual fuck? is it really that hard to make a good star wars game? like really they have all the components they could need? they have soo much to work off of and somehow they fuck it up so often. if you took star citizen or no mans sky and put star wars paint on those games and then built a story around those building blocks you'd be on ur way to making a decent game but nooooo we wanna make farcry every fucking chance we get. like jesus how many paints can you put on the farcry formula

Well ok tbf, if you're a youtuber, its a good self investment by paying upfront 60-120 bucks so that u can make as much money off of the algorithm while star wars outlaws is the newest and trending topic. We shouldn't shit on reviewers for "supporting" a company just cus they either don't wanna go through the hassle of pirating a game that prob won't even be available to download on release considering how strick DRM's in games are these days. Plus, with them forking over 60 dollars, they've prob prevented at least half the viewer count on their video from purchasing into said product.

Yet somehow they've also created some of the most fun and innovative games i've played in all my life, and have taken up most of my gaming hours. Yet somehow they're also the prime example of following the bare minimum formula of game design and homogenizing all their series. @@panzershreck8077 one of my favorites is Beyond Good & Evil. Been a fan since day one really. I’ve wondered the same thing you asked yourself. How the hell is this the same developer? Unfortunately game companies have lost most of their good people, and are getting funded by governments & associations to promote an agenda. They don’t care about giving us the best form of entertainment and escapism anymore. It really sucks. I hope there is a glimmer of hope for the future, but honestly there isn’t.

It wouldve been nice if the factions were actually something that affects the game overall, kinda reminds me of starfield with their loyalty system not really being much. Wish we could have New Vegas style storytelling where you can fuck over one faction or every faction depending upon your choices and standing, but thats a completely separate game from this for sure
