Me too. This doesn’t feel like the usual AC game somehow. The cities feel more lively and different that the usual crowd walking around in circles. I just hope they keep the free roam lively as well with world events like rdr2 and improve the facial expressions a bit.

@ I learn the game first and then turn off the hud. Just memorize the abilities. All my Assassin’s Creed videos are without the hud. It looks more cinematic

Historically it is very bad and very imprecise, I personally don't like the combat, but it has happened to me since AC Origins, I don't know the story, the animations look poorly worked, it resorts to the rag doll very soon and it seems that it doesn't have weight it feels very unrealistic and believable, the graphics are fantastic it looks phenomenal and the details are very good, but unless it has a VERY good story I don't think I would classify it as a good game, I think it will be a pretty mediocre game, its sad

Enemies that have no armour you kill in two or three strikes. Enemies with armour will take many more to break the armour before any of your attacks land. The armour is a sponge until you break it. Without armour, they're dead in two or three sword swipes

Im very very excited for this game. Ive watched my brother play the games when i was little but they never struck my interest. I love japanese culture and anime so i was hooked soley on that alone. I am also a huge Ahsoka Fan so seeing Naoe hold a sword backwards makes me extremely excited

I remember playing AC: Mirage (which is also the first AC I've ever played) when it came out and thinking that it's actually really fun to play. Story was quite good but the gameplay itself was the most fun part for me. Sure I don't have anything to compare it to since it was my first Assassins Creed game but if Shadows is also as fun as Mirage was for me I'll consider buying it

Honestly, assassin's creed shadows may be more interactive and more activities to be done than GOT....GOT the character is badass, the settings,the graphics but kinda feel so lonely and empty.... Shadows has so much potential judging from the fact the predecessors went rpg now going back to its root single player with a still a bit of twist of rpg so yeah you will never get tired of exploring such huge and colorful world when it comes to assassin's Creed and the additional fact you can wall climb everywhere....

Wow, I'm looking forward to it. The world looks great. Organic and alive. The fights also look good, the finishers are awesome. It was clear from the start that Naoe would not be a one-man army. So I'm curious about the contrast with Yasuke literally walking through the front door. Observing nature is a beautiful detail, even that she draws it. So I have nothing wrong with what I saw and have been looking forward to it ever since it was announced. But I always have fun with Ubisoft. The worlds are still some of the most beautiful to look at. But I also like the abundance of different activities. I can experience the main story, as well as side stories. or simply stroll through the beautiful world and pick up one or two things along the way. I can do a lot of things, but I don't have to do everything. As long as I enjoy it. Thanks Knightz for the insight. I would also be happy to see a detailed video, you can definitely find some of them.

It looks like Valhalla in terms of everything but with a different setting! Horse riding looks exactly the same among other things, maps looks cool but empty, graphics looks decent too. Parkour is the same since 2017 but now with flips! I think i'm gonna pass! Thanks for the video tho!

How's the game? Is it like Origins or the post-Origin AC games? I enjoy Origins and Odyssey but didn’t play much of Valhalla since I prefer playing in sequence. Does the game have a large map, ships like Odyssey, and how is the character switch mechanism? Is it smooth or cumbersome? What about the parkour? Naoe’s parkour feels more fluid? Lastly, is the stealth more hack-and-slash or the classic kill-and-hide style?

How is combat this bad? Floaty, weapons don't matter anymore, animation doesn't matter anymore, it's like 2 potatos mashed against each other. Where is AC1-2-3-BF combat? Tight, responsive, you could feel a weapon slashing or stabbing a body, it was so smooth and rough in the right way at the same time. Since Origins it's like... Skyrim. Look at 3:16. Dude holds a staff horizontally, he is "defending". Naoe lashes out with a chain and blade, horizontally, way above the staff, and it's defended somehow. Compare that to all the sync kills and actual defense in AC1-2-3.

They still make that ridiculous animation where when you climb, you kinda do a little float up to reach the end, it’s so unnatural and fake. Why can’t they redo all the parkour animations when you’re climbing, make it more fast, more agile, like Spider-Man climbing, hand to hand reaching the next spot kinda thing. It’s cool the new few tricks, but the climbing system that still looks bad and fake.

Naoue looks good. They should get rid of yasuke tho. He was def added in later in development for DEI reasons. Should have focused on naoue only. Having another assassins creed protagonist that can barely climb is dumb. You have to switch just for that😂. At least they copied ghost of Tsushima this time instead of the Witcher.

I didn't explore too much in those area but I know that pretty much all of what you see from the viewpoint is accessible except of course for the really steep mountains. For example in the south west area there's a large shrine/outpost past the forest.

The combat is just so... bad. Why does the time "freeze" for every single hit for like 0.2 seconds? I miss having the feel to be an actual "Assassin" who is clearly stronger in combat than these random guards who didnt have your training... They can take to many hits which is the problem that comes with the RPG system. The only game from the recent AC games i played was Origins and only because i got it for free which had the same problem and the combat there was probably the worst combat in the whole AC series (for me) even in AC 1 the combat was better having in mind that it came out in 2007. If this game has an option like Ubisoft added to breakpoint that u can switch between RPG and Immersive mode then MAYBE iam gonna get the game on sale
