Assassin's Creed Shadows is probably going to be the first ever AC game I play! I really liked Ghost of Tsushima and so having another Japanese environment like that is more appealing to me than other games in the franchise and the combat and everything actually looks fun unlike the soulslike stuff in Rise of the Ronin.

Auto follow? Why not just do what Ghosts of Tsushima did and have the ai "lead you" but copy your exact movement speed, makes it feels so dynamic. Also, Yasuke reloading a Matchlock faster than a musket is crazy, its powerful because it was in during the Sengoku Jidai. It looks like a worse Ghosts and thats me saying it as i playthrough Ghosts of Tsushima. Getting awesome armors and having stances and fun abilities that are not to outlandish, and the morality of should I assassinate for easier times, or just hack and slash through a camp (and die if you rush).

So for anyone that hasn’t watched the trailers, I recommend you do. You will find floating doors. Animations that often times pushes your character to phase through NPC models. Your sword not aligning with your sheath. Shading bugs. Your characters hands phasing through the hilt. Stair cases that lead to walls or windows. Floating bullets (For anyone that’s for immersion) the mix of Japan and Chinese culture. Though I’ll give that a pass. It’s not quite gameplay. This is gameplay but it’s not very assassin like other titles. The character that we all think of cannot parkour. Leap of faith results in smacking the ground or breaking the carts of hay stacks. This is showcased in their own official trailers. The best they had to show the market. This comes from a very moderate standpoint. No politics for anyone that has seen the obvious.

Like i understand it being harder to assassinate a full samurai but when it comes to leveling all enemies that are a higher level you cant assassinate. Its silly that a sleeping guy can catch ur blade just because.

@ while the option is nice the problem is still a fundamental one. Its that there is no middle ground you either stab him in the back of his armor and kill him or just dont get to stealth kill him. But instead a high level grunt can catch ur blade as well.
