Again, if you wanted a black character in an Assassin's Creed game just base the game somewhere in Africa during the time of "The Kingdom of Kush" or maybe during the Numidian empire times or during The Zulu Empire. That would have been way more cool and make a lot more sense to have a black character as the main guy.

It will be interesting to see his character, since we know that if Yasuke is Playable then we will probably have to fight him in the end. So it will be interesting to see if he’s manipulated by a group, or maybe takes it upon himself to do something because he just doesn’t care for Nobunaga. We will see but I’m certainly interested in how Ubisoft build the story around this, how characters will interact, and how the Assassins and Templars will be involved. This is the first game in a long time that had Proper Assassins and Templars, and hopefully will shed some light on wth Basim is doing in the present day

So what I’m hearing is that the gameplay is an evolution of assassin‘s Creed syndicate where you can play as either protagonist specialized in certain skills, this time more skills are exclusive and the world reacts to certain actions performed by different characters

I think the only ones that weren't apart of any brotherhood legally were Kassandra and Eivor, though eivor has a hidden blade, as does kassandra in the dlc (i think, i could be remembering wrong), kassandra is also related to one of the founding assassins via marriage. So they're kinda brotherhood-adjacent. But kassandra was a precursor to the hidden ones, an ancestor of aya if i remember right. And eivor's era was during when the brotherhood was beginning its worldwide spread into further countries.

Your elaboration around the truth has no limits lol. I would expect nothing less from Ubi's adopted son. Ubi chose Yasuke for marketing reasons to attract neglected audiences, to increase the number of players and more money ;) The last time we had a black protagonist was 10 years ago, this is the truth, period. Nothing against black people, it is the Ubi's business decision here in question because they have deliberately chosen this story over many other and more popular real Japanese characters and stories during that era. Why add the brute Samurai in the game? Wasn't the ninja enough? Of course not. Follow the money! Without a proper hack/slash, protagonist Ubi wouldn't be able to sell easily the game to a huge audience of gamers and particularly those who didn't like the Mirage and rated it low. Ubisoft might get this right? Faaarrrrr from it! I only need a blade and Assassin's Creed meaningful narrative in the game to play. So I'll enjoy reading the Assassin's Wiki and all about the Japanese Brotherhood, Master Assassin Hatori and his ninjas who have fought the Templars in Japan since 1549 to bring order on the island and protect the artefact, the sword of Eden. You carry on getting hyped about this duo of protagonists who are nothing more than Avengers tightened on another family drama and run on a parallel narrative with Assassin's Creed.

Game has a good rating across the board, user ratings on steam is also really positive and overall the game was a financial success for Ubisoft. If you said this about Valhalla I would have probably agreed with you but odyssey deserves respect for what it is.

after finally being able to play ghost of tsushima on pc. if ubisoft dont step up and improve on the hitbox and mob AI combat. I dont think it can surpass the real ac japan that is ghost of tsushima. Even with basic stealth/parkour mechanics. GOT have such clean controls over how u ledge on something or climb the ladder compared to a more complex established system like AC. Im just comparing the Open world series cos thats where AC engine is currently using. I preorded AC origins/odyssey/valhalla. But only origins got me hooked. Sure Ubisoft always made pretty worlds especially big capital cities etc. But aside from that. everything else comes with abit of jank.
