Even the great Kublai Khan, despite his power, was unable to conquer Japan in the 13th century due to the resilience of the samurai and natural disasters. In the same trailer, some character, clearly not associated with Japanese culture, simply deals with samurai. This is disrespectful to the history and culture of Japan, which I deeply respect. Valhalla wasn't historically accurate either. There wasn't near as much outrage over the depictions of the Vikings as there is for Yasuke. Also what in the world is "alternative history" in this context? It's a video game. We can even go back to AC2 where they had Leonardo Da Vinci actually make a flying machine, even though he never actually made one in real history. We also have Niccolò Machiavelli randomly being the leader of a shadow organization. This is a stupid argument. These games have never been historically accurate. It is always fiction being inspired by historical events. Not actual history itself.
