Pfff, where to start: 1. Happy that JT Music is back and that they found passion once again for music. 2. Happy to once again see great musicians included and collabed with (especially Andrea) 3. Happy to hear AC Valhalla song with nuts-lifting chorus. BUT... 4. a Demon's Souls rap/song from JT Music that doesn't sound like Demon's Souls at all 5. a Valhalla song from JT Music that doesn't sound like AC Valhalla at all (Vikings + metal/rock, yes, it is a good combo, but..) It is your channel, your passion, your personal image, it is up to you how you do music, we fans cannot dictate you how to do what you love, guys, so don't take it personally, BUT my point is that I started to listen to you guys and came to love you for how you infuse the game's atmosphere with your songs. Using similar instruments, reflecting the game's soundtrack. That Demon's Souls song had (once again, a good song in general) bare minimum in common with Demon's Souls atmosfere and I am not coming back to you for generic songs that I can hear everywhere else, I am here for JT Music songs that sound like created by gamers for gamers, or more by game fans for game fans, taking the most out of the game, game-related lyrics and sounds. Same vibe is missing from this song, although less since Vikings are literal inspiration for metal/rock genre. But the very aggressive yet somewhat generic rap beat in between chorus with absolutely unatmospheric and uninspired instruments is ruining that only vibe that this song has with that game in common. Don't take it as hate, I am your fan ever since AC Black Flag rap, and always will be, but I feel like so far only half of what I considered JT Music for has returned. You did absolutely amazing Destiny rap that sounds so much like Destiny that I consider it canon basically, you did Doom Eternal rap, that once again sounds very alike with the game, like it was created for it. Dead Space, too. Ghost of Tsusima, once again, amazing japanese instruments used, establishing that game's atmosphere.. and more of those examples. I hope that I'll be able to hear game raps like those once again from you, because that was what made you stand out above the rest, your unique take at music where it is more of a rapping into game's soundtrack. Your fan, sincerly.
