Only ones I played after Black Flag were Unity & Origins. But yeah honestly, they don’t feel like anything special anymore. My thought is that they should reinvest in one character again that we grow to care deeply for over another 2-3 games. I tried playing origins. I about died of boredom. I was constantly disinterested in the story and the RPG element pissed me off by level walling enemies that you can fight and missions to go on. It was open world but the rpg mechanics closed the world up. Don’t waste your time on these games.

@Mustafa Abbas legion lacked in more important stuff like gameplay and story but valhalla apparently has a lot of bugs and the skill three is bad so if the iron out the bugs it could get better obviously while bad gameplay and story is way harder to fix. If you are debating between the two I would recommend watching some other reviews or getting valhalla

I haven’t enjoyed an AC game in so long, this game has been awesome! Can put in hours on end and not actually get far in the game. I hate RPG’s because of their usual wonky ness and lack of direction. This game offers enough direction but also provides a considerable amount of freedom. 9/10 honestly.

That gets under my skin too. Every game that’s released now days have bugs. They always get patched. So they shouldn’t be included on the reviews. Mention them yes but they shouldn’t effect the review score! 🙄 I’d understand if the bugs were that bad it’s breaking the game. But it’s not. My point is they shouldn’t devalue the score because it has bugs. Who’s to say the game could be patched tomorrow and could run ten times better.

I'm only ten hours in but the combat is mind numbingly boring even on the hardest difficulty and the graphics on a standard ps4 are pretty bad (some textures are honestly as bad as ps2 games). Hopefully the combat gets better but right now I'm regretting not waiting for the game to go on sale before buying. The story is decent and the game is still fairly immersive and atmospheric despite the bugs though. (There's a lot more bugs than odyssey had at launch but most of them aren't game breaking)

I still want a sequel to bayek's story... having recently playing and beaten odyssey, I still found bayek to be the most interesting main character in AC games period. I still feel this way even after experiencing stories off Ezio, Kenway, Adewale, and the Frye Twins. Not only that, I felt that odyssey's world was great, still felt that Origin's Egyptian setting was superior and felt bigger in every way. Resulted in more fun to explore in my opinion. Having said all that, I look forward to experiencing the story and exploring the world Valhalla has to offer. Even so, I still want a Bayek sequel.

The music in the game is absolutely stunning, though, it might just be the best in the series. Great job to the composers: Jesper Kyd, Sarah Schachner and Einar Selvik. Edit: Also, Asgard in this game has become my favorite interpretation of it as well. Odin is also a great character. I'm loving the story of this game so far.
