Great video as always shade! Question, how are you using crimson tempest? are you trying to keep it up as an additional bleed or just using as filler when they're stacked?

Hey man I’m an r druid main and have been thinking about playing rogue. Sin looks by far the most fun and less complicated than outlaw. Would you say it’s an incredibly difficult spec? I heard outlaw is #1 hardest spec. Thank you

I think Assassination is easy to get into, and hard to play really well. It's definitely a good spec to start Rogue with, but you have to like DoT gameplay. If not, then the other specs will feel better for you. Outlaw isn't as difficult as some people claim. Maybe they want to make themselves feel better about "playing a hard spec" idk, but it really isn't that hard, you have so many options always that you can't mess up that much if you are on beginner/mid tier level. You'll always do fine. But, to play Outlaw really, really well, to optimize everything you do, yes, this is very hard.

@@Shadenox Honestly Dot gameplay is some of my fav. I absolutely love playing Feral. the idea of an easy spec to pick up but a hard spec to master is even more appealing. Do you have any other comps you enjoy playing with other than aff?

Mmh, with Destro, SP and Fire Mage it's fun right now. It works way less with other specs.

Is your usual opening rotation in shuffle, garrote 1 target build 5 combo points then step kidney someone else? is this usually the go to build pressure?

You should try to Garrote as many targets as possible, but sometimes you have to stun first to make sure you don't get stopped.

What do you think about the build that gets SBS rather than Kingsbane? Seems weird to me, but I saw another top rogue on the shuffle ladder speced that way so it must work.

It works, as Myk demonstrates pretty well. I've played it a bit as well in some match-ups, it is really good. Since you don't have Kingsbane you can really focus more on doing maximum CC during Dance, and maximum damage with Garrotes and AoE Shiv (more globals to reapply Garrote to everyone in Dance, no need to save a Shiv charge for Dance KB, so you can use it when it would be more value, etc etc).

The rotation doesn't really change depending what you face. You always do optimal damage the same way. The rotation may change depending on the situation (need to restun, someone using a defensive, need to kill a totem, etc etc), but not depending on the comp you face. From my available loadouts I mostly use 2 & 3 (I think ?) in PvP. In both there is a lot of AoE, Assa thrives on cleave damage. I always give links towards my builds in the description too, so the ones I use are available through there.

It's a very simple /cast Shadowmeld /cast Stealth, and you have to press it twice quickly. More often than not I even end up pressing it only once then pressing my Stealth keybind. There are a few moments when it won't work because something random kept you on combat exactly on Meld, it's a bit RNG.

I do, but it's not my main cooldown right, it's not what's dangerous about Assassination. Dance is.

Also, im enjoying assa a lot lately. What would you say are the best comps for assa 3s? I played a lot of Dev/assa today and the burst windows felt really nice

Well, it's not really a Crimson Tempest build, right. it's just that if you want to play Carnage + Kingsbane + the other two mandatory capstones you ahve floating point. I think putting it in Crimson Tempest is the best option because it will sometimes be useful while all the other options are close to unimpactful at all times. If you don't face a comp against which Crimson is going to be very good then just don't press it unless they all unexpectedly stack up. As for the best comps, Assa/Affl, Assa/Destro, Assa/Fire, Assa/Deva all work. with SP and Boomy too, but less so.

There is a Survival Hunter, an Evoker or both against me in every round but one. It's more valuable to not press Deathmark if they don't use their bleed dispel beforehand
