Well he technically had one. This game IS canon and it's Altair focused. It's the direct sequel to AC1 on Altair's side. And then Revelations is shared between Ezio and Altair, and it does close the book on Altair's story, so there you go. AC1, Bloodlines and Revelations. Trilogy, right there.

How nostalgic! This was actually my very first Assassin's Creed game! I had just gotten a PSP and this game came with it. I don't know if the community sees this as a good or bad game, and it's true that it may not have aged well (then again it IS a PSP game so you know...) but I absolutely loved it. It got me into the series, and I bought both AC1 and AC2 right after I finished this one!

Glad I am not alone, because this was the first AC game for me too! I heard of the AC of course but I had no console at the time. I played this game so many times and it is the whole reason Assasin's Creed is my favorite franchise

I've often thought that if they made a remake of AC1 with reworked missions more akin to the later games, as well as adding new missions retelling the stories of Bloodlines and Altair's Chronicles, it could rival the Ezio games.

Thanks alot for this video, im currently trying to replay all Assasins creed games on pc, because i kinda forgot the over-arcing story the last decade. but for this playthrough i was also interested in all Spinoff titles, and wether or not their "Lore" was canon or not. And rather than watch someone elses playthrough for 3 or 4 hours, i rather only watch that interest me, which is the story in the cutscenes., Thankyou for this video, and saving me alot of time !!!

its nice to get some context for stuff that gets revealed in 2, i had always wondered who the hell the woman was and why they were so intimate out of no where, had no idea she was the templar bait and what had happened since then to when she got pregnant, kinda stupid that they relied on this spin-off to give that information, i do hope if AC1 ever gets remade they can add on this bloodlines stuff, or atleast the relationship between Altair and Maria so the story is a bit smoother between 1 and 2
