Arabic dialects back then were still mostly fusha, the dialects didn't really fully develop until the Abbasid Caliphate began to fall apart a few decades after this game's time was set. (source, im a historian)

i doubt iraqis in that time period were speaking the iraqi dialect. they most likely spoke something a lot closer to fusha. im not an expert but they prolly didnt even call themselves iraqis.

2:19 ya khalo they weren’t speaking arabic because they weren’t arabs lol. they were ancient egyptians there language was completely different. arabic came originally from yemen. all these countries that are now arab in ancient times did not speak arabic.

1-First of all at that time they spoke Arabic mostly in Baghdad delicts didn’t really develop and started to be spoken at that time .. Baghdad was the center of the Abbasid caliphate so not even everyone is from Baghdad they come from all over the world so Arabic is the way to Go …. 2- in Egypt at origins game time they didn’t even speak Arabic it’s ancient Egyptian ( Coptic) there is no native speakers to that language so they just did a language similar to Arabic basically

To correct you at the time of the Abbasids especially baghdad the main dialect was fusha keep in mind Arabs from different regions settled there as well none Arabs there was No dialects at the time of the game..

Abbasid caliphate spoke Classical Arabic or Quranic Arabic. So i think it’s not a big problem to speak Classical Arabic in this game. They can just learn Ancient languages just like Norse & Latin.😅

Assassins originally started in Alamut mountains of southern Alborz in Iran, so the fact that they call going back to the "root of the game" to set it in Iraq is just a sham... and everyone's upset about the accent?!🤯When the damn location is all wrong😂
