The best course for Ubisoft would be to use that delay they announced to remake the game based on the original storyline it was proposed. A Japanese samurai and the blade of Isu that gives power and corrupts. A classic for assassins creed and a sure success. Also, a bit of debugging before the game releases wouldn't hurt.

If at all and even then. He was in japan for a total of 3 years and not even a full year was he under Nobunaga. There is literally no situation he would be able to gain the skill required in less then a year. We don't even know what he was doing In those 3 years, because the Jesuits never wrote about him aside form near the end before they left japan. If he was training to be a warrior do you not think Any of them would have wrote about that? It's not like he was training to be a knight he would have been training in Foreign techniques to the Jesuits. He is possibly nothing more then a Servant for the Jesuits, one of many they would have had brought over from the Indies. Even Ezio, who started with nothing went through Several Years and Timeskips of Training to get the skill needed to be an assassin. They mean to say that Somehow, Yasuke in Less then 10 months(Which the game would take place near the beginning or middle of this 10ish month period) managed to not only master Bushido and Samurai Discipline but master it's culture and Methods of Etiquette. Something that Real Samurai Train to be since Childhood yasuke did in months

What makes it sad is, people have been waiting for years for a JAPANESE NINJA Assassins Creed. All that time, energy, and resources, wasted trying to push THE MESSAGE, when if you REALLY wanted to do something, just add a free insignia that says BLM on the Katana the Ninja uses and if you REALLY want, make a DLC where Yasuke is shown to be a double agent assassin and you get to play his backstory leading up to Nobunaga’s death, that way you get you assassin samurai gameplay and you can give him a Black Lives Matter tag on his armor if you are so inclined…

Honestly it's made even more ironic when the thing they base the assassins of in Japan are Shinobi but Shinobi aren't often used as assassins but as an information network distribution system. Then add the fact one of the MC's doesn't even look like he can perform a stealth kill without alerting a whole castle and you have a formula for something.

He was under Nobunaga for Less then 1 year, in Japan for 2 years as a servant to the Jesuits as at best a Guard, not a Warrior, and at worst an indentured servant. Why does he sound like he was Raised in Japan his entire life, where did he learn all those skills and discipline Real samurai train from childhood under.
