I was scaving one day with the mosin and paca armor on customs because I was broke as hell. Looting the ground floor of the fortress in the room with the beds and no lootable coats. A two man team rolls up and I tried to hide. One of them tries to enter my room and I give him an SNB round to the gut. He panic fires a few shots from his ASh-12 and takes cover behind the doorway. He decided, "Screw it, I'm facing a mosin Timmy and I got a real gun and a good kit." And he decides to just push me by himself without medding himself first, calling up his friend to push with him or nading the room. The moment he turns the corner second shot to his gut drops him. I immediately go to loot him hoping at least to get his gun before his buddy swings around the corner. He holds his corner and I'm able to snag everything and go from my paca+mosin combo to level five chest+stomach armor, level four helmet, and an ASh-12. At that point his friend was no problem for me to handle. That was within my first month of playing the game too. The rest of the raid felt pretty fucking chill with the new big iron on my hip. It was one of those adrenaline fueled rags to riches memories that keeps me coming back to Tarkov.

Chiappa Rhino 50DS: You really wanna roleplay Ocelot from Metal Gear Solid and actively enjoy reloading single rounds during the middle of a firefight however you keep forgetting to turn it to single-action and miss every shot you try to make even when you try to high-noon some poor player scav. Chiappa Rhino 20DS: There are two types of these. Either 1) your memeing by putting on a Belt-rig and filling every 1x1 Slot with the gun, never reload and just switch to a new pistol when your empty. Or 2) Your the type always carries a backup for a backup, you like carrying multiple guns on your person for any given scenario, knowing all too well your never gonna use it. It's always gonna sit in your back pocket waiting to be used and IF you ever do use it, you blow all it's shots and don't even hit a barn door or just resulting in a slightly bruised, very annoyed scav. Flare Gun: Again either one of two scenarios. Either A) you found a bunch of these in stashes and figured maybe the loot from a Flare Gun is different from a Hand-Held Flare or just wanted an excuse to use a flare gun for the Streets Extract. Or B) your a tv-addict that somehow wants to recreate the scenes of shooting people with a flare gun, somehow expecting them to burst into flames.

DMR mains probably have 92 Monstrum 2x's and 62 Valday 1-6's saved in their stash. Also as someone who has been using the SAG a lot recently the difference between long and short is one of them is probably 1k cheaper on the flea. They both sit around 40k anyways

I use sags as budget dmrs so the lower MOA of long one is nice. If you want 100ergo and instascopes go ofr short. Long has trouble reaching 100 with most suppressors. But 80 was plenty

It's fancy. (And really like it when I was doing shooting range). APB: it's bad, but fun even if you are using full auto to shoot the roof. Glocks: Hate those cubics things that everyone use ! But you can make good looking one and they can be effective. G18c: go Brrrrrrrrr Chiappa rhino: can be a good back up when using shotgun without slug, to shoot something way over there. It's me! I'm the niche-withing-the-niche guy that LOVES the vpo-136 and the Sag 545!! I guess i like semi-auto guns...but with m1a is kinda too easy and the ammo are expensive. Vpo-136, 60k cheap build, 140 decent build...slap 2x30 round mags and a 60 ammo stack in the gamma and you are good. If i want to get some memes i lower my caliber. Saiga-9 is my choice.

You forgor intermediate type of AK-209 users. Those, who stockpile AP-M found in raid, loading TWO MAGS (one in gun and another in chest), 61 rounds total, put on it 2x monster and suppressor and go ass-naked to the Forest. The feel from oneshotting stranglers while trying to extract with 300k of loot in stolen from somebody backpack is very memorable for sure.

The OP-SKS was SO GOOD back when you could buy 7.62x39 PS at Prapor LL1. It could deal with Armor Level 3 and even Armor Level 4 very well and at the beginning of the wipe, people don't tend to run around in Class 5 and 6 armor anyways. A 20 round magazine and either a PSO-1 or EKP-8 on the DT for long- or close-range engagements. It was the ultimate budget build that could take out anyone you wanted. And ammo was readily available.

Beretta M9A3 is for those, that are just starting as a USEC in mid-wipe, but lost all their proper guns to that one chad, who ever so slightly got their kappa on the 2nd week of wipe. Also, I personally like the Beretta, but the truth is, it's recoil doesn't have to be that fucking massive and EVERYONE hears you use it, because how indistinguishable its noise is. Extra on the recoil part, even if you do your very best to make it's recoil small, it still feels like you are firing a .50 AE out of that, there is seriously no reason to have it that big. PM and it's other cousins: You are either broke, memeing (with it's 84 round drum), found it in a hidden stash, but forgot to sell it, so you figured "screw it, I don't feel like wasting another 100k on an m4a1, i'll just run thru factory with it" or you are doing The Stirrup quest or all of the above. Also yes, you can put a red-dot on the threaded barrel variant by using a suppressor that has a picatinny rail on it, idc. MP-443 Grach: Who uses that? Other than meme runs. M1911 and the M45A1: STFU WITH THE JOSHUA GRAHAM QUOTES. Also you do a fuck ton of other 1911 jokes, I sure have. Glock 17: You own one irl or you know how superior it is. G19X: TANANANANANA... For pistols I rotate based on what ammo I have except for 2. 1 being the 1911 because if im in a fire fight the other guy is already hurt, so the dmg of the 8 rounds is usually enough to put someone down. 2 being the PB because with so much PBM floating around it's a cheap suppressed pistol that I use to quitly headshot like its mgs. Also demand Nikita give us the OP scope to irons switch we deserve.....it is literally what the OPs were made for.

The VPO-136 doesn't get enough love... :( People see it as a semi-auto AKM but I see it as *the better SKS* . Depending on how much you mod each gun, the 136 is *cheaper, performs a bit better in most stats, and uses cheap AK parts* . You're not *limited to use the dovetail sights/scopes* or that awkward cobra mount and you get *very cheap and easy access to 30 rounds mags* instead of buying SKS 20 rounds mags for 70$. All this applies to the AKMS aswell and you get the full auto option for panic moments as a bonus.
