Listen lady: I am giving you a million kudos right now! I cannot imagine building my own girl...although you have inspired me to try...one day...I am so proud of you and I'm sure you're proud of you too! I cannot wait to meet Mirai and give you a big squeeze!💕🌟

Thank you so much my friend 💜 you truly know how much I needed to do this to prove it to myself! And now I can't wait for you to give it a shot!!

Incredible accomplishment! You solidified my resolve not to build one myself, but it was fascinating to watch the process!

I’m so thankful you made this video. Danny made it look so easy and I know better! Nothing ever goes that smoothly. I needed to see a real person do this. I can swing the price for this one 😻 Amazing job! You did that! 💯👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤️

Thank you for posting this video and I learned a lot ! I plan on trying the final boss grade as well and now I know that it’s going to be a tough job! Congratulations on completing the final boss grade Mirai version-she’s really cute!

Thanks for watching! My doll started coming apart at the seams a bit a week or so after I built her, so I recommend to use more glue than what I used. Good luck on your build! It's tough but satisfying when you're done 💜
@yaoi2lover5 жыл бұрын
Oh my goodness ! Thank you for the heads up! I’ll keep that in mind for sure! By the way, I love the idea that you separated all of the parts in different bags! I want to use the same idea for my project as well. I want to give you credit for the idea, so is it ok to tag you in my video as well? I won’t be upset if you decline 😊 Thank you in advance!!

First let me say thanks for showing the part sorting that good, helped me a lot! And kudos on building a Cortex. Some mistake you made with the shell parts to point out. - To insert the shin frame part, you have to not set the upper leg frame in place and push the shin all the way up in the upper shell, then set the upper frame in place, that's why your shell won't close and your knee looks to far away.
@MunecasPoupeesDolls5 жыл бұрын
Aha!! I wonder if I can go back and fix this now 🤔 I'm going to try, thanks for the tip!
@FaraiyaCrescent5 жыл бұрын
I also did it wrong and put the body shell on till I realized it. I was able to pull of the body shell again. Took some gentle wiggling, If your straps are to tight you might have to snip them and replace them. Since you used plastic glue you might need to go along the seam line with a cutter, because of what plastic glue does; it melts the plastic together. Just try to pull of the leg shell gently first. - good luck :)

You know, I was originally saving up for a vinyl Oceana, but I have an itching to get a Final Boss Gaia.. The concept of constructing my own doll is pretty appealing!
@MunecasPoupeesDolls4 жыл бұрын
It's kind of exciting to watch it all come together, but it was a lot harder than I thought it would be and I wouldn't do it again 😅
@rachelnelson37654 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I've seen a lot of people saying it's difficult, but I do craft and make a lot of things regularly, and have all the tools I need, so it's an experience I'd really like to have.
@MunecasPoupeesDolls4 жыл бұрын
@@rachelnelson3765 especially if you have that experience already I say go for it! I didn't really have that and I think that was to my detriment. Good luck with your build 💜💜

What do you use to grease the joints; is it a branded product? Or can something like petroleum jelly be used?
@MunecasPoupeesDolls4 жыл бұрын
It was the grease that came with the doll, so I'm not really sure what type it is.

Muñecas, Poupees, and Dolls do you still have Mirai Cortex? I think the seams on the edges would drive me cray cray!
@MunecasPoupeesDolls4 жыл бұрын
@@shanadahl356 no I did end up selling her, and bought a vinyl one. It seems like cortex really isn't available too often anymore, so maybe I should have kept her as a collector's item 😂

From what Ive seen, one mistake is really good. I would have fucked up way before the frame was put together. I now really want one of these dolls, but im super broke, do I'll just mod a monsteer high or made to move barbie.

@MunecasPoupeesDolls5 жыл бұрын
Thank you! They definitely are a lot different, and the vinyl in truth is not all that much more expensive when you consider all the costs.

Good for you, sorry it was so hard on your hands. Nope ... I wouldn't do it, and the only thing the matter with my hands is old age. (ha, ha) Now this is just my opinion, but I think it ridiculous and unnecessary to design and engineer that doll to be so complex and complicated. Although the Cortex dolls are less expensive, I think I'll stick with my single "Crimson Kai" boy.
