@crochetmumster, I assemble each strip the same way. So with a 3rd strip, I would start on the left side of the new strip and then go into the right side of the already connected strip. :)

@ladyoflosttimes When you get to the end you use the tail of the strip to the right to make a slip knot, through the loops on your hook, as you would when ending any crochet row.

I really like how the 2nd method looks but how do you end it? When you get to the end you have those loops left how do you lock them in place?

I've only watched a few tutorials for hairpin lace, most finish the top and bottom using tassels. I'm wondering if you know how to finish the projects without the tassels?? (I really hate tassels lol)
