Man thanks so much for this video. I've been going back and forth on a Q3 because of the lack of a bit driver but your idea of using a leatherman driver is super helpful. Keep it up!

Some of the other keyholders use screws that are very similar to motherboard standoffs (round instead of hexagonal though), you can stack these to gain extra height allowing you to add extra keys, or in this case extra multitools. Chicago screws would be another possibility. Keysmart also has a range of tools and accessories that are often cheaper than 2nd hand leatherman and victorinox parts.

Great video. How resilient do you feel the black finish is to scratches? Really like the black Q3, but concerned it’ll show signs of wear far quicker than the silver titanium.

Thanks. This finish is oretty resilient, but it hasnt been abused that much. If u want a truly scratch resistant finish, get the Quiet Carry in the stone washed finish

I have a Quiet Carry Q3 and am super inspired by your video on it and on the Shorty. I was curious, if you were going to put Victorinox scissors in a setup like this but on the Q3, which Victorinox model would you take them from? Also, is there any reason you opted for the Wave scissors on that setup over Victorinox scissors? Love the ingenuity!

Thanks for the kind words. I chose th3 Wave scissors because i had them readily available. If i wanted to use victorinox, i would have to disassemble my swiss army, which i dont want to do for now. The wave scissors are really the easiest ,and they can be found sold separately on ebay much more frequently than a separate pair of Victorinox scissors

I havnt been stopped yet. I even checked with FAA, and they said this is legal. However, not all TSA security agents will adhere to FAA and may just take it. What id recommend is just always announcing it to the TSA before hand and having all the tools open. Having printed FAA guidelines on scissor length maybe overkill, but could be useful

@@marvinyayu9187 I don't fly often, so take my TSA experience with a graij of salt. But if you're only planning to put KEYS in the Quietcarry, then youll be completely fine. The multitool option at the end of this tool can also be removed before flights of youd dont feel that itll be needed
