Assembling Pura Hive Boxes From Premier Bee Products

In this video we put together some Pura hive boxes from Premier Bee Products back in early 2023. We were planning on building everything from scratch that season. We needed hundreds of new boxes in time for spring. Unfortunately we couldn't find an affordable or reliable source for the lumber we needed. This brand new product from Premier seemed like a good option for us and we were already planning on ordering foundation from them. We've been very happy with these boxes. They have a unique semi blind dovetail joint which keeps the boxes square as they go together. This means you don't need jigs and you won't build parallelograms. Despite some of our clumsy footage, assembly is much faster and easier than with other boxes. We also really like the handholds. Premier makes great products and their customer service is top notch. We highly recommend them!
