Assembly and first run of the Holzfforma G111

I finally received the bar and chain for the saw. Now I can test this Stihl 200T clone. The only issue I had with assembly was the chain guides were too thick and were rubbing on the chain. After a bit of shaving I had the chain spinning freely.

When you put your bar on and adjust the chain you need it to be loose with the bar nut on but not tight and lift up on the bar and tighten the chain until the chain touches the bottom of the bar. Then keep holding the end of the bar up and tighten the bar nut. Then you check the chain tightness by lifting the chain at the top of the bar and you should be able to see about three teeth lift above the bar to have it tightened correctly. If you don't lift the bar up the chain can become too tight as you use it wearing the bar down. This method may also solve your chain being pinched between the guides issue. I owned the Stihl Ms200t a while back. I sold it and regretted it. So today I bought the clone version with a 16inch Oregon bar and chain with Oregon chain oil and Stihl oil mix for the fuel. I'm curious to see what differences I find from my Stihl ms200T I had. I hope you have great luck with yours. 😎👍

I hope I have great luck too. I’ve already retuned the carb and it really runs now. The only issue I have with mine is it leaks bar oil.

Nice video, have the same (similar) chainsaw by Holzfforma and the chain didn’t move when tightening the side cover. Will try to see if I need to trim down the guards or maybe put a spacer… Please don’t forget to put the chain catcher hook if you didn’t do so already. ;o)

@@igor1467 I’m happy to hear I am not the only one with this issue. I trimmed back the guides with a dremel. There is still enough of the guide left, I only took off about a sixteenth on each one. I have the chain catcher on. I didn’t show it in the video since I was taking everything apart over and over.

Just got my g111 and g660 pro, the g111 came with a ngk plug, I didn't think they came with ngk but anyway the thing rips, it's really nice, I have not started the 660 pro yet

Yeah, that little thing rips. It’s really nicely balanced which mashed it useful for smaller stuff on the ground. I’m going to wait a couple tanks before I retune the carb. I didn’t check the plug on it, as long as it runs I’m ok with whatever is on there. I have started the 660 pro and it sounds mean! I’ll be using it later this week so look out for that video.

I got 2 660s a g111 and a g888, i opened them up and they are beasts, beware of breaking chain tensioners

my old 200t was wore out plastic wise, motor was good, soooooo, lol buy this pos and slap all its parts on your old 200t and bada bing you stihl' save $$$ and can put out some epic videos of how awesome the chinese version is ....wih german guts.... ps...look into the diesal chainsaw in ali baba lol...really😁
