A piece of USA manufacturing history, of what we use to be. A tremendous example of talent, expertise and technology that resulted in a product without equal. Rideable artwork when you consider the craftmanship by these skilled people.

Such a shame they are not made here anymore.

What a shame that we lost all of that

I have a Synapse that was made in the last year they were made in the U.S.A. and a year later I bought a CAAD 10 that was the first year made in Taiwan and you can tell the difference in the welds. It is like they do not grind them smooth anymore.

I sure wish all the cheapass manufacturers would finish the welds on the frames we are being sold today. Frames are being sold today for more than the first two Cannondale complete bikes I bought from Cannondale back in the days when the were made in Bedford, Pa. I toured this factory twice back in those days. I would have stayed with the brand but they moved out of the country and I never bought another one.

Cannondale Bicycles may as well change it's name to Xingping Bicycles. The reason why they used to be desirable was because they were made in the USA.

What is the last year Cannondales were truly made in the USA, so that I know to stay away from them?

2010 was the last year but the less expensive bikes were made in Taiwan before that.
