It's not that people don't like JP3. Its just that they like it LESS than the first two. JP3 is still a good movie overall, especially considering its troubled development. It definitely has some great moments. The main problems with it are its plot, which comes across as irrelevant, not really adding anything to the previous two movies (it's just a chase story) as well as a few annoying characters and a couple stupid scenes. Overall its still watchable, even enjoyable. It didn't really "ruin" the previous two movies by any means. It just didn't really add anything to them either.

I rewatched the movie and noticed how it could have been turned into quite a good horror film with good char development and more but it really does not fit into the jurassic park genre then, if they made a remake but made it a spin off horror, now that would be much better and also i feel a few changes to the script with some strong emotional plot points and more characters would have made it a lot better oh and add in the Spino hunting them even more cause this is and was no normal spino.

You can't kill the main T-Rex of this series and just replace him! What is wrong with you people!?"(Yeah, I thought Rexy was a dude back then...) But after learning why this dinosaur was so aggressive, I no longer blame him for his actions.

I find it really tragic that the Spinosaurus had to have such negative experiences with humans, hence shaping it to be the way it is. Hopefully, it becomes more neutral towards humans if it gets a more fleshed out storyline in future adaptations.

Yeah I'm hoping that the spinosaurus will warm up towards humans in the future. It's really tragic that the spinosaurus has a negative experience with the humans and sometimes I imagine that if I rescue the Spinosaurus from certain poachers or evil people that want to use the spinosaurus for notorious purposes I would watch over it with my very life and protect it and keep an eye on it and if I keep protecting it and still watching it over it over the years it will learn how to trust humans and then I might form a bond with the Spinosaurus then the Spinosaurus will learn how to trust people.

Apparently the Spinosaurus was meant to appear in JW Dominion, where he would’ve helped Rexy defeat the Giganotosaurus, but this idea was scrapped and was instead replaced with the Therizinosaurus helping Rexy in the final fight.

I think it's reasonable to assume that even if the specific 2001 Spino might be done for, the DNA itself is probably still available to somebody in the universe and could be used for production. This feels especially plausible considering the sheer amount of industry espionage.

I’ve always loved the spino. He’s so badass. I know a lot of people don’t like it, but Jurassic Park III has a special place in my heart because my dad took me to see it in the theater as a kid and the spino was so cool to me even then. I think it’s ridiculous that people hate him just because he killed some random T. Rex (there’s no way it’s the same T. Rex from the first movie. It wasn’t even on the same island). Ramsay's "At least for now" when talking about the giga being the apex was in relation to it being the *only* apex. The "for now" being in reference to Rexy who was about to be added to the area after being captured, since it would then mean the giga was no longer the only apex. Me and this Spino have quite the history. JP 3 was the first JP movie i watched, and i was probably one of the few who admired the Spino for being able to kill a Rex. Naturally, with more recent evidence, i have accepted that it is impossible for an accurate Spino to even consider fighting one. Still, with the impact it left on me, i identified myself as it in my childhood. Embarassing as it is, i used to call myself "SpinoEye" Horrific name, i agree, hence why i don't call myself that anymore. And here i learn that i share the same number with it. "87."

Turning it into a “abused” character is stupid. They ruined what made it so terrifying and scary. It was the apex predator that killed and hunted because it wanted to and nothing could stop it. Love the story of the Spinosaurus I always wonder if the spinosaurus was still around after the events of Jurassic Park 3 the spinosaurus is my favorite big carnivore the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies plus the Giganotosaurus and the T-Rex and the Spinosaurus is one of the most ferocious of predators on isla sorna and and Jurassic Park 3 is what got me interested in the Spinosaurus and will be in my memory for years to come and I'm glad the spinosaurus returned in Jurassic world Cretaceous season 4 and you are right it's probably still living on mantah Corp Island as of 2022 and I'm glad that bumpy the Ankylosaurus was able to survive from the volcanic eruption of isla nublar and that she's able to live on mantah corp island. If it was me I would take bumpy and the rest of the Dinosaurs like Pierce the kentrosaurus and Toro the Carnotaurus and big eatie and little eatie the T-Rex`s and those three Baryonyx I would take them to the Biosyn valley or I'll keep an eye on them and watch over them and protect them and if there are illegal breeding facilities that specializes in cloning smilodons and selling them to Black markets or underground fight clubs I would find them and I would shut them down and I would find a good home for those smilodons I think I would take him to a DFW sanctuary in Arizona where I'll keep an eye on the smilodons and I'll protect them and if I find the spinosaurus on mantah Corp island I'll probably take it to a DFW sanctuary that specializes in housing dinosaurs anywhere around the world or anywhere in the US where I'll keep an eye on the Spinosaurus and maybe study it and if there are other Spinosauruses anywhere in the US or around the world I would find it and I would bring it to the DFW sanctuary where the spinosaurus wouldn't have to be alone. I'm just a big fan of these dinosaurs at the movies and all I ever wanted is to protect them from people that want to use them for sinister purposes and I want to protect them with my very life and if any bad person who wants to harm the dinosaurs I would have them arrested.

I love the rewriting of history that is "Oh it was just a juvenile and it wasn't really the same Rex, blah blah blah" They totally underestimated what killing a tyrannosaur would do to the series. How good of an idea was it to kill of Optimus Prime back in '86? How smart of an idea was it to whack Han Solo and Luke? Make zero mistake that was a Tyrannosaurus the way we have always known it and they totally missed the mark by killing it. Now we apply bandaids to the issue "Oh it wasn't fully grown". Hahaha.

A lot of people have hate towards Asset 87 due to it being similar to the Indy or Ripper, being more of a movie monster than a regular animal. Now baring other problems in JP3 I can understand why Spino chased the humans so many times. Mainly due to the plane propellers cutting its sail when the team tried to take off without Cooper. If people thought that blood splatter on the plane windshield was from Cooper it was actually from the it’s sail being struck. Plus, due to Biosyn testing on it for so long it’s very understandable why it’s hyper-aggressive specifically towards human.

The director said that Cooper actually shot the Spinosaurus when it was chilling and resting, which is why the plane windows had blood on them when it came in contact with the Spinosaurus’s sail and why the sail had blood, the Spinosaurus got threatened and attacked and killed Cooper, since the plane hit its sail it also thought the plane was a threat so it chase it away but saw humans come from it, so it probably assumed those humans were the reason the plane hit its sail and assumed the humans were with Cooper as they were the only humans on the island, so it chased them but was forced to fight a T-Rex, fortunately it won, so it then searched for them, it eventually came across them in the lake. However it was burned by flames from a flare so it was forced to run away In seasons 4 and 5 of Camp Cretaceous. The Spinosaurus was kidnapped by other humans and to its perspective the humans were just as bad as they kidnapped him and used him for fights, so when it was freed from control it tried to attack the kids and the Mantah people as they looked like the people that had kidnapped it, but it got double teamed by Big and Little Eatie so it ran away, it then got to live a peaceful life The Spinosaurus was never a bad guy, it was misunderstood and never got to encounter good humans and since all the humans it encountered attacked it, it just relied on self defence and thought the other good ones also were trying to hurt it (which they technically did) Poor dude, he really needs a break

See, I was familiar with a different story for the Spinosaurus, as told in the Scan Command/Dinosaur Battles Game. In this, the player actually creates the Spinosaurus, who eventually goes wild after the Dino Voc technology you use to control it is taken offline.

While I did not like how the Spinosaurus killed a Tyrannosaurus Rex, I did respect Spinosaurus Aegypticaus as the largest known carnivorous dinosaur. Tyrannosaurus Rex is still my favorite dinosaur, but I like Spinosaurus Aegypticaus.

Spino was what they wanted Giga to be, by killing T. Rex in Prologue but it didn't land cuz Giga was not killing any humans. Sad that Spino didn't return in live-action.

@@SwrveYT I find it just a bit strange that Dilophosaurus and Ceratosaurs have largely retained their Design, but not Spinosaurus. Both Dinosaurs that have not been seen for as long, if not longer, as the Spino.

Evidence number 1-Rexy doesn't have any scars in season 2 and 3. Explain that! You have to be on so drunk to forget to add scars! Evidence number 2-Why wasn't MantahCorp Island mentioned in Fallen Kingdom or Dominion? Evidence number 3-MantahCorp island is ridiculous. It's not in line with laws of the JW Universe. If CC was cannon, the Island wouldn't have Crags or digital biodomes. All animals on the island are good, but we should have seen instead of biodomes they should have invisible fences like in Dominion and military drones or weak robots instead of Crags. The laws can be changed, but that's the job of the movies like Dominion, not supplementary material. Supplementary material should create stories that are fun, but also in line with the laws.
