Hi, firstly thank's a lot for your video ;) I'm looking to fix a really anoying bug in Assetto Corsa. Some cars, like most of the bmw with paddles, like the M4 akrapo for giving an exemple, does a really strange tyre squeal when you pass gears at low speed (less than 70km/h). In more, you can increase your speed if you up and down shift very fast without puting any gas, its obviously a physic issue and its give an effect that you are pushing forward. I went from 30 to 80 km/h with this technical. I tried a lot of setting with car tuner and basics one as audio tyre squeal but without finding any solution. I just found that the auto clutch as a parameter to designate the level of gas to reach at the next gear, in this sense it's fix the bug of the acceleration when you up and down shift very fast. But I have always this strange tyre squeal. Can someone help me into my search ?

@@PaulSwiss what i understood is that your saying is that when you accelerate upto a certain speed the tires make a squealing noise that's because ac physics are like that. second thing that you said is that your car goes faster by only shifting gears without accelerating, i tried this in m4 akra and it didnt happen so what you can do is verify integrity of ac in steam i think there's some problem with your game you can fix it

Yes, open drivetrain.ini and read the last lines there's something like downshift protection=enabled or like this and just turn it off very simply or change the RPM limit of protection.

There's no difference in sequential,manual,auto,dsg in game language. You have to change shift times and that's all

there is a slot in the drivetrain section and you put 0 for auto or paddle and 1 for manual. under the [Gearbox] bracket and it says support shifter

So i am trying to change the final drive ratio of an awesome car using a data.acd rebuilder program, as soon as i do this and go to a track it crashes in the loading screen, ive tried a lot of stuff but botomline, it seems that somehow the car is secured in such a way that adjusting any file will result in it being invalid and not allowing it to be driven with, do you know of a security like this and maybe how i can bypass it or get rid of it?

Hmm! Yes I'll tell you the bitter truth. Creators of awesome cars aren't awesome dudes. The car you're trying to modify is encrypted! You said the car is secured in some way... Means it's encrypted! I've had problems with that . Unfortunately I don't know any loopholes for that even now:-* so maybe try to contact the owner of the mod which is .... I tried to fix a silvia s14 because it didn't have gear shift animation. Didn't work i contacted the modder i told him to do complete work! He said ok ok I'll do but that dog didn't fix the thing and I can't do anything

And just use lower gears for mountain passes, i tried to modify a Civic Type-R mod (FD2) it redlined at around 8700rpm and the power isn't just there , in reality some Fd's RPM reach 9000 stock. So i thought let's go 9000! And I'll increase the power but you know what happened, however there was one car i modded and that is a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 6 . It's gonna have same problem but somehow i managed to make it work( the mod was made in such way that it worked others didn't)

@@AirborneJoban that is one hell of a coincidence xD my car is almost the same haha, Yeah so i cant use or implement lower gears either, any change to the car just sets off the security, its the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V Wangan Spec, its a car thats part of the car pack from the shutoko revival project, it only has one gearset (and ofc set up for highway)

@@toshiba5784 it's probably newly added to the carpack because it wasn't there earlier, it's wrong i believe and against lancer because it's a super short geared car and not made for very high speed it wouldn't matter in a game but yeah i don't think in reality many ppl used lan evos to go 300kph. They shouldn't encrypt their cars or give a non encrypted copy for personal use like us, you know srp pack GTO mitsubishi that is a very good car but it doesn't have a gear shift animation. Weird thing is that modders know how to encrypt their cars make csp and sound but don't know how to put gear animation which is extremely simple thing. I have also made a video on that just incase if you need gear shift in some cars as in some cars it's missing and manual transmission then feels incomplete

Whenever i swap an engine or i add a turbo to a car it automaticly disables traction control and even when i force it on with the car tuner it wont work ? Any ideas how to fix this maybe im missing something

when you load the car in game you can use the spanner looking button to change the setup of your car. in setup you can see electronics and under it there is traction control set it. shortcut is ctrl+t while driving. or you can simply use better tires by replacing them with something better in assetto corsa content manager

@@vntryx i hope you didn't put a GTR engine in a honda acty because in some cars the differential can't hold all the power so your rpm will go redline when you swap the engine change the max clutch torque in drivetrain and either make the car AWD or spend more time modifying the diff settings using more powerful car's settings

@@symbioticspoodafat8250 you can always experiment with tuning and you'll find new things and better delete the ks+ tire filter in content manager so you can have all tyree including mod car tyres because sometimes some mod cars have very good grippy tires like drag radials nd i wanted to make a 1200hp vw golf mk2 but it wasn't possible even with AWD because all my tires would spin endlessly so when i replaced them with a Mod litchfield Nissan GTR's tires drag radials now I don't have any spinning at all and i can put down all that 1200hp!( Maybe you can change the line friction in tyres.ini and you'll have better grip and experiment on tyres I'll say because i didn't

If it shows other cars but not the one you want then maybe it is because that car is already a tuned car and ac car tuner wont show tunes without parent cars, Basically open the folder of that car and check if there is a xtuned.file if there is this file then delete it and it will show in ac car tuner

Very difficult but not impossible 😜 instead of messing with suspension.ini, copy some cars whose suspension is adjustable ingame first find that car (most likely it's a race car like audi s1 e2) then go to setup.ini and find the section where it is written "Suspension" or something like that then go to the car whose height you want to adjust then go to it'd setup.ini then see the line Suspension or something,you'll find that there's nothing written there after suspension so now just paste what you copied from another car and you're good to g

Yea those blue shards, actually you are modifying an encrypted car and you can't do that so i'm sorry there is no way to fix that unless you know how to decrypt the mod or ask the mod creator to make a non encrypted mod.

@@AirborneJobanHi, yes I am from Germany. :) My problem was that the AI ​​just didn't switch at the start, but I was able to solve the problem by replacing the ai.ini file. The vehicles have been working ever since. :) I drive a standard BMW M140i and only changed one thing. The limit of 250 km/h has been lifted. It's fun to drive 270 km/h and more every now and then, but it requires a lot of attention. I am married with 3 children and rarely challenge the car. :)

From what i have understood is that the game takes the h shifter as the primary shifter soo i think the game will only use 1 shifter at a time so i think you have you remove h shifter. Modifying data will not change it as per my thinking because it's the games fault. By modifying data you can make the gearbox behave like a sequential and shift without clutch

You need another honda mod with turbo that actually has sound like i have an ek9 turbo it has turbo sound with it so i just replace it using content manager software, or search gentle mind performance s2000 then download the car and change the sound. Changing the sound mod file is a difficult process otherwise this is easy way just download a car and replace

To make stance i think what you can do or atleast what I'll do is not mess with suspension.ini but what you should do if you can is if you have a car that has stance already or has a lot of modifying level available in setup such as camber adjustment and ride height etc, just copy it's setup.ini 's lines like Suspension etc, just copy them and paste in your car that you want to modify . For example WDTS S15 on Nismo my 2nd gear will not go lower than 100 mph. I have spent the last 4 hours trying to fix this issue I cannot find anything that can help me. Hello! I think i can help you but first i don't understand that how fixing your pc changed your ratios lol! Anyways the thing is you know how to use this software and you can change the setting once you create a tune but in your situation i suppose you will not be able to create tunes for every single car so i will recommend you to use ac content manager and using that unpack the data (there's a button and i think you already know everything ) after unpacking data go to the car's folder and there you will see unpacked data folder from original data.acd file. Now in data basically all the files are like this software and now let's get to the main point your trying to fix. You are saying your 2nd gear is ending at 100mph when it should at 60 mph(i use kmph actually) what happened here is the gear ratios are lowered which meaning the speed actually increases now to fix. Whatever the number of the gear is must be changed for example if it is 3.70 you will have to increase the value to a higher number (for eg 3.90 will decrease gear top speed) will shorten gears . another case is your final drive is changed, I'll suggest you to google the specific car's gear ratios and write them again in the file (don't copy paste them in the file outside the software because then it just messes up)If you watch the gear part in this video you will actually know how to do it! @@AirborneJoban hey thanks for getting back to me. Well it started with a bad SSD windows partition clone. I tested the clone without the original and it booted up fine. So I deleted the original then it started giving me problems. As soon as I did I had to reinstall Windows on my old SSD. So I had to reroute a bunch apps and permissions of stuff on my PC. I got everything back to normal however I came across this issue. I was messing around a bit with it for like 3 hours I couldn't find anything that helped. Plus I figured out it's on almost all the modded car. Also now I have to start content manager as an administrator so it can load the game up which I never had to do before. It's just so weird! And I have reinstalled content manager and I have verified my files on steam. And I reinstalled the newest patch for CSP. Only thing I haven't done is reinstall the whole Custom Shaders Patch. Lol. Sorry I had a time. I'm not the best explainer.

@@korruptcontent954 ah don't worry my hdd went corrupt few months ago due to which i had to overhaul my pc (yea ik what you are thinking) i bent my cpu pins too and had to get them fixed lol and then i had to re install windows on a different partition so i could access my ac folder and copy my mods into an external drive then change the hdd but i couldn't copy some of the mods and some of my setting were also deleted but now for the most part it's ok i run a 256gb ssd now, so were you able to change your gear ratios?

@@AirborneJoban I haven't fixed it. But I can change the ratio it's just the lowest gear ratio is to high. The lowest ratio used to put my second gear around 65 mph now it's 100 mph.

@@korruptcontent954 just decrease it bro you've got to do it the hard way apparently or Just google the ratios of the real car then write them again or maybe just maybe your ratios are fine but the final drive is messed you'll know if all your gears have increased top speed but are in sync,now what do i mean by this is that if before the problem your rpm redline at 7500 and you shift into 2nd and it drops to 4500 and now after the problem if your car is still dropping to the same RPM then it means your final drive is changed, there's a separate file in data finalrto.ini or finalratios.ini you can change them also because sometimes they changing final drive doesn't do anything in gears because they have 2 or 3 options in finalrto , i hope you'll sort it out thanks! Changing the interface isn't possible if I'm not wrong. What most ppl do except me is opening ac by cm launcher. Putting 700 cars?, Yes you can put as many cars as you want . I have 40+gb of cars mods only . The total game is around 100 GB now 😅

Due to which i had to make a backup r32 and then tuned this r32 GTR to increase the power ! But you solved my issue

If you watched the whole video you would've known. Go go Power.lut and there is a graph of power @rpm you can check that and carefully adjust that if it's a na car but if it's a turbo car then just increase the turbo pressure in engine settings

I can't use CSP because of my PC's old hardware i do have a new laptop on which i played using csp and yes car tuner works with CSP cars but if they aren't Encrypted mods which mostly they are. Try modding some other csp car that isn't csp. Thank you!. Also i think you should use stable csp version

Yes ,but it's a bit tricky to do so, the steering is in car.ini , you'll change the steering angle but also the linear rod ratio to make it work, just copy from a car with bigger steering angle .

umm for higher grip you either need new tires or change a friction line in tires.ini the name would be like grip or friction or something that means the same and just increasing the value will work, new tires are easier but i didnt record it because my exams are very near the video won't come for about a 1 and a half month but to change tires just open content manager and select the car and in the interface there's a section at the bottom which says change tires and opening it will pop a list of ks tires [ks means official kunos] and backspacing will delete the filter and you will have all tires even from mods so if you know what tire has the most grip you can just drag the tires to your the left side which will be your cars tires, sound hard but if you do it yourself its not hard at all just take a look at my gear shift animation to see how content manager looks like , if you really have trouble i will just make a video. try and if you are unsuccessful just give me a comment

@@ItzmeAB. let's say you're trying to unpack the data of a car that uses csp and is most importantly encrypted and when you open the car either you get an error or the textures go blue and gray and become like shards? That happens if you modify the data of a car that's encrypted. For a car that's not encrypted when you unpack the data it creates a folder "data" in the cars folder now in order to use that data you have to delete data.acd file(backup it) so the game will pick up the data folder as data files. Otherwise the game will pick data.acd only .
